## What is Dog Joggers?

Running with your dog isn't the same sport as running alone — so why is every app pretending it is?

DogJoggers is the first running app built for two athletes on one lead. It coaches your training zones and your dog's welfare limits from the same plan, because a run you're both ready for is the only run worth doing.

Your dog changes your pace. We're the only app that measures it. Pull a dog on a harness and you run faster without it feeling harder — worth anywhere from 20 to 40 seconds per kilometre. Every other app credits that speed to your fitness. We call it your Dog Boost, measure it from your real runs, and use it to price every session correctly — so your training zones reflect what's actually happening, not what a generic pace calculator assumes.

Science-led pace zones, not a guess. Built on the Daniels/VDOT method coaches actually use — Easy, Marathon, Threshold, Interval and Repetition zones calculated from your real race times, not a one-size-fits-all formula. On-lead sessions re-price around your dog's contribution automatically.

Your dog's welfare, checked before every run. DogJoggers reads the forecast against your dog's breed, coat and age and tells you when it's too hot, too cold, or just right — before you clip the lead on. Flat-faced breeds, double coats, puppies and seniors all get their own thresholds, because "fine for a Labrador" and "fine for a Frenchie" are different numbers.

Structured sessions that respect two bodies. Interval work targets your heart rate, not a pace your dog might drag you past. Repetition work gets a pace ceiling, never a heart-rate band that can't react fast enough. Every session in the library is welfare-gated and capped so hard days never stack on hard days — for either of you.

Splits, history and a streak that means something. Full post-run splits and a Care Streak that only extends on days you did right by your dog — including rest days. Running through a red heat-warning day doesn't just risk a vet bill, it breaks the streak.
