It came up with everything from Husky to a Mexican hairless breed. Only 3 photos permitted before you’ll need to purchase a more expensive subscription level. To be fair, it would be hard to get this technology right, and my expectations were low. But golly; it’s almost comedy to get the results I received with 3 carefully taken, carefully posed, well-lit photos. **Developer response:** Hello! I have 2 purebred Siberian Huskies, 1 was identified as a Malmute. The other came up several times as a Saluki, Norwegian Elkhound, Japanese Chin, and a Labrador, with possible parts of a chihuahua, Pekinese, or Shiba Inu. We also have a small mixed breed, believed to be Min Pin and Dachshund, she came up as a Redbone Coon hound, Kelpie, Labrador, with parts of Rhodesian Ridgeback, Great Dane, Bloodhound, and French Bulldog, Plus 2% Dachshund. Ranging from a lab to a a tiny breed that has absolutely no likeness to the breed standing before me. I would not use this app for anything serious only for fun to see what it comes up with when I was bored. I feel it was a complete waste of time and money. Hopefully others are having better luck with it. I certainly don’t understand the rating it shows before purchasing. I see now how it got such a good rating. It identified them as separate breeds despite them being sisters, and was way off on what they did categorize them as. Lol. I used the unpaid version, so that’s worth mentioning. The paid for model may be better. ### 1/5 — Crashes and is wildly incorrect *2025-04-05, version 1.0.4* It crashes when you upload a photo about 80% of the time. But when it identifies a photo it is really really off every time. It said African wild dog but a puppy that we know has a pekingese mom. ### 1/5 — How wrong can it get? *2025-03-29* I uploaded this app in the hopes that it would give me some information on our rescue dog. I scanned him three times and the first time it said he was 99% Chihuahua, the second time it said he was 69% Chihuahua and 40% Scottish terrier and something else. The third time it told us he was 40% Scottish terrier 3% Shibu Izu, something else and Chihuahua. What a joke! He is a shelter dog, but we were told his mom was a collie because they brought the entire litter in, but they didn’t know what the father was. Don’t waste your money. **Developer response:** Hello!
