Before you ask, yes I tried all of them in a two day time span. There was much more on screen and it involved less scrolling. On top of that, I have tapped every sound effect and my dog could honestly care less. If I do happen to find one that she does even remotely care about, it is only briefly till she realizes the sound is coming from my phone. After that shows no interest in the sound ever again. The dog whistles only work on my daughter. Not my dog. Yet my dog can hear me just fine. I use the animal sounds to amuse myself mainly but found the environmental sounds invaluable for helping my dog overcome her fear of particular noises like thunder, loud sirens and fireworks. She no longer cowers during thunderstorms and sleeps through them! I’m hoping by bonfire night in November that she’ll be calm when the fireworks start going off. Excellent app and well worth paying the £2 for premium. ### 2/5 — I feel bad for my pup but it’s fun *2023-07-02, version 3.5* The app is fun to use on your dogs. The animal sounds are really realistic but the squeaky toys are. The minute you open the app, it starts bombarding you. I don’t mind the occasional ad to support a free app, but this is ridiculous. You get an ad almost every 30 to 60 seconds! It makes it impossible to actually use the sounds or have fun with your pets. I am uninstalling this right away. Save your time and find an app that doesn't hold basic functions hostage behind a wall of endless pop-ups. ### 1/5 — WATCH YOUR ADVERTISEMENTS *2026-04-14, version 5.0* I was unlocking certain dog sounds by watching ads, I ended up seeing some really disturbing ads. This is supposed to be 4+ but honestly I wouldn’t want my kids or any kids seeing such provocative ads. please filter what is shown. ### 1/5 — This app is definitely not puppy proof *2026-04-10, version 5.0* The widgets are small and the “pages” are too easily changed so our pup was getting frustrated. I was too when she managed to actually shift out of the app and inadvertently open another one. Thankfully I was sitting right there and caught it before something bad happened. The widgets should be big and the page locked when in use.
