Walks are offered but on the 2 walks I checked there is very little data or functionality to zoom etc. that makes it almost impossible to identify the car parks and pathways to plan the route e.g the description says ‘leave the car park from the rear’ but there is no way of identifying where that is! The map was faulty throughout and inaccurate. Emailed developers twice but no response. Clearly they have no shame. Also very few walks in my area even though it’s the Cotswolds!? Will be sticking to the books (NOT Countryside Books!) in future! ### 1/5 — Expected more walking routes *2021-10-28, version 1.2.0* I was really excited to download this app as I love to take my dogs out for long walks, after downloading, I noticed that the map only showed a couple of walks in my area, I read on the description that to unlock more walks, I would need to pay a yearly subscription- which I then went onto pay. I have since been on to look at these extra walks and I’m no better off than before paying the £5.99, I can’t see any extra walks in my area. BUT - there simply isn't enough data on the app to warrant using my storage space. The app tells me there is only 2 walks within 20+ miles of me & I live in the Hampshire country side... clearly not accurate. Well given the poor response to my review, I can’t help but feel vindicated. To be clear, in response to Developer,I did indeed try the app. I did indeed explore only to discover that the part of the UK that I reside in is not served by this app. So is the Developer suggesting I’m being harsh in my review? The Developer criticises my review and implies that I should have tried it. The go’s and tracking with the written instructions are great. Would love it if there were some more walks released soon. If there was a way to tick that a walk had been competed or rate then that would be good but overall a really easy to use app with some great walks. ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-04-16, version 1.2.0* Have done 2 of these walks now, both to break up a long journey and they have been just brilliant, both for us and our dog! We did the one near Huntingdon yesterday and one at Middleham in the Yorkshire Dales today and both were simply lovely. Good instructions and the map shows where you are even without a connection. Really looking forward to doing more on our way home. I discovered this app when on holiday In a new area - and I had no idea where to walk the dog - other than the usual tourist trails and local parks. With the app we discovered wonderful new walking routes which we would never have found otherwise. I love that the map shows you where you are alongside the recommended route so you’ll never go far off course. Great to have the written instructions as well so you know exactly where to head out from each turning . I have some of the books but the app tops them all!
