Peace of mind in case one of the rotters escape. This should be provided through every council as the more people who use it, the better for everyone. I feel confident letting my greyhound run along the beach and out in substantially sized parks knowing that I have the Doggone app to fall back on if my doggo runs out of sight. The app is simple to use, fun to see your pooch on the map, and it’s a simple way to help reunite doggos in the community with their humans. It is a very easy to use app and the tag is very small, light weight and water proof on our dogs collar. It gives me peace of mind knowing that while my dog is with his dog walker both her and I have access to his location. It works so well, the app is so easy to use, and any time I’ve had a question Tracy has gotten back to me immediately. Developer has tried to help but unable to fix problem. Will not be purchasing this service from the Hutt Council when registrations are renewed this year. ### 1/5 — SLOW & Not innovative *2020-02-15, version 2.0.9* Takes days to update your dogs location. Doesn’t support multiuser, even using the same account, only 1 can be logged in at a time. As I write this review it shows my dogs location from 4 months ago. My phone is an iPhone 11 so that’s not the issue. On top of this it states my dogs registration number belongs to another dog, obviously hugely flawed app. Wouldn’t recommend spending the extra. Great concept but obviously should have waited until it was perfected before launching. GPS signal obviously almost non existent.
