There also needs to be a toggle for turning of AI filters and posts I love the app and the idea of it but I will never support the use of AI especially for such unnecessary uses. ### 4/5 — Great App *2026-09-01, version 8.0.3* I’ve lived here my entire life and didn’t know about half of these dog friendly spots! Encouraging and pushing AI, which is unethical, onto users, in fact actively encouraging the use. “Verified” accounts so people who don’t pay get lost in the way and no one sees their content. Flooded with businesses instead of just dogs or a mass of backyard breeders promoting their BYB puppies. It’s awful. The app had so much potential to go so far and now I barely touch it. I was hoping to use it to enjoy looking at peoples dogs and now I hate it. I hate it so much. But I’m sticking around and hoping that the people fix these errors and make it better again. Removing AI, at least mixing unverified through the verified at a night mix instead of it dominating the main page, and removing business accounts. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for sharing your feedback 🙏 Business accounts on DogPack are manually verified to provide dog-related services. As a proud dog owner, this app has truly made a difference in both my dog's life and mine. I was excited. Soon it was flooded with horrible generative AI that looks sloppy, ugly and distasteful. Premium accounts are all you see, never the non premium accounts. There are ads flooding everything. Pushing of backyard breeders and glorifying of designer mixes. I had so much hope. And now I barely touch it. I’ve moved to BamChi. Similar to Instagram but for all pets. Their layout is amazing. They don’t push genAI, they don’t do premium accounts. This app is just a quick cash grab and won’t last long. ### 1/5 — Downloaded to find pet-friendly stores/shops/resturants *2026-02-11, version 6.1* The advertisements I would watch would portray this app as a place to find cafés, stores, businesses nearby that allow pets to come in for my convenience… I literally can see all the parks that Google can show me and I can see all of the “dog businesses. “ basically grooming services or walking services blah blah blah but nothing for me… I wanna know what business is in my area that are for me that I can bring my dog with like Bass Pro like Marshalls, like winners… ### 1/5 — Too much AI and ads *2026-02-10, version 6.1* Used to love the app but now it’s nearly unusable, ads for their AI slop down your throat every time you open the app, a “for you page” as if they ignored all the research about how bad that is so no one sees real pictures anymore just the slop their algorithm tries to push, luckily you can view based on new posts or who you follow but that only makes the stuff they push crazier.
