The recipes are clear, personalized, and simple to follow, and I like that it explains portions and ingredients without making things confusing. Making homemade dog food simple, safe, and stress-free is exactly what we built Dog’s Kitchen for, so this truly means a lot to us. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Total Bait and Switch *2026-07-16* Was excited to try this app, but unfortunately the “limited features” you get with the free version means you can only see ONE recipe and my dog is allergic to both of the primary ingredients in it, so I can’t actually try the app out before deciding whether to pay for premium. And there are only 9 recipes hidden behind the paywall, so $5/month is ridiculous. The developer needs to be HONEST about what’s actually available in the free version and consider making the price reflect what the app offers. ### 1/5 — Disappointment *2025-12-03* Downloaded the app and paid for the $9.99 monthly membership. Immediately was not able to recognize what I had just paid for. Doesn’t allow you to choose puppy as life stage and there’s a million ads that keep saying to pay for the membership I already paid for! Major disappointment! **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback. Dog’s Kitchen currently offers recipes for adult dogs only, which is clearly shown in the free version during the dog profile setup. Puppy recipes are in development and will be available in the near future. Regarding your subscription: Please try “Restore Purchases” in the app, which usually resolves this.
