One request: To book an overnight stay, you must first cancel any overlapping daycare booking and the cancellation must be approved by staff. Then you need to remember to check it was approved and go back in and book an overnight. It’s much faster to call to do it all at once. I wish the app could bundle these requests together. ### 2/5 — The app stinks *2026-06-08, version 2.0.20* My dog loves Dogtopia but the app is terrible. The cameras take forever to load and then freeze up. Constantly getting an error when I open the app. ### 3/5 — Please Fix *2026-05-14, version 2.0.20* Can you please fix the pop up from asking every time the app is launched if we want a tour, and then having to confirm we do not want a tour? Even if you do the tour, it still asks if you want it. We don’t. We can figure it out. Also cameras stop all the time. It made a reservation for me at the wrong Dogtopia location despite me confirming it was the correct one when I hit the confirmation button. The camera portion of the app is very hit or miss. ### 4/5 — Unable to view webcam *2025-12-01, version 2.0.10* I’m not able to view the WebCams for my current location. The staff at the office says that the cameras are working fine and we can’t seem to figure out why I do not have access. It barely works, and every update seems to make it worse. Webcams won’t load and freeze up constantly. Way more tedious to navigate, clunky and quite frankly, ugly! Used to be one to two clicks to schedule an appointment or look at cameras, now it’s several for either. Can also no longer rotate cameras for side view. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-08-29, version 2.0.8* This is an objectively terrible app. It has one job - allow booking - and frequently cannot identify my dog as linked to the app to be able to book. The tour doesn’t seem to be removable so needs to be cleared every single time the app is opened. Seriously, basic errors. ### 1/5 — Webcams freezing *2025-08-25, version 2.0.8* Love Dogtopia and the team but the webcams not so much! You can watch for about 30 seconds, if that, before it freezes up. You have to go out and click back in to see another few seconds before it freezes again. I have emailed support several times and told everything is fine. NO IT IS NOT! ### 1/5 — Poor Functionality After Update *2025-08-24, version 2.0.8* The Dogtopia app used to be great, but this most recent update has been very disappointing. When I try to open the Wellness tab, the app forces me to either purchase something called “Dash” or return to the home page. I should be able to dismiss that prompt and still view the Wellness section, but instead, I can’t access it at all. The functionality feels broken at this point. On top of that, I can no longer see any upcoming events through the app. I don’t take my dog to Dogtopia very often as it is, but with the way the app is currently performing, I’m seriously considering moving on to a different daycare/boarding facility altogether. ### 1/5 — Trash app *2025-08-17, version 2.0.8* The old version worked just fine. This new version is complete trash and now it won’t even load my dogs profile and all the appointments I had scheduled disappeared. This is now the most useless app on my phone. ### 1/5 — FIX THIS APP!! *2025-08-17, version 2.0.8* I never had a problem with the Dogtopia app until this new design! I cannot login- I have tried changing my password and uninstalling multiple times- nothing works!! It won’t let me create a new account because it recognizes my email and info as already existing but won’t let me in! I have had to resort to just emailing and calling for reservations but cannot access the webcams because you’re required to login to the app to view them- which I cannot do! The app is worthless. I think that my dog might have coded it. Sorry, that’s insulting to my dog. He’s smarter than the app developer. ### 1/5 — New app is horrible *2025-08-16, version 2.0.8* New app can’t find my dog but when I try to add him, it says he already exist. App says it can’t fetch user details yet I see my name and info in the Personal Details section. Won’t let you update personal details and just throws an error. Bring back the old app. It was perfect and easier to use. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Webcams constantly freeze *2026-05-20, version 2.0.20* We took our dog to dogtopia for the meet and greet and free day of daycare afterwards. Staff was friendly and meet and greet was fine, but the webcams were absolutely awful in the app. It never seems to load well, constantly is frozen, I have to kill the app multiple times and then try to get it to reload again, and just read all the recent reviews and this is definitely an ongoing issue with the app. If you guys actually care about your customers and the dogs like you say you do then the app and webcams should be fixed and updated ASAP. Pretty sad when technology is at its peak right now and my house cameras work better than the garbage nest cams that dogtopia has. Not sure if I will be bringing my dog back now because of this huge issue. Listen to your customers and reviews and fix the app and webcams. It’s disappointing and a huge turn off to a potential long term customer. ### 1/5 — Full screen webcam removed *2026-05-11, version 2.0.19* After the update yesterday there’s no longer an option to view the webcams in full screen. There’s no way to report the issue to the developers. The full screen webcam was the best feature the app had. Whatever firm helped design and create this should be fired. I've experienced better performing apps from college kids ### 1/5 — Put money into UI!! *2026-03-09, version 2.0.15* I’ve been taking my dog to Dogtopia for 6 years and she loves it so much but god this app is atrocious! The webcams rarely load and that is the top reason for me wanting to have my dog here. Considering it’s over $40 for ONE DAY of daycare, you would think some of their budget would be put into the under interface of this god forsaken app. I mean seriously how hard is it for webcams to load… ### 1/5 — Webcams not great and can’t add treats *2026-02-19, version 2.0.13* The Dogtopia WebCam’s are constantly glitching, and there are always ads and then the ads don’t go away even after you watch them in order to see the WebCam. There also isn’t the ability to add the treat for your dog in your booking. ### 1/5 — Adds taking over webcams *2026-01-27, version 2.0.12* Starting 2026 off with forcing adds on the app and then not allowing the webcams to come up at all, even after watching the add is not a good look. Super disappointed, I already pay to have my dog at Dogtopia, I don’t need to be force fed ads to check on my dog ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-01-24, version 2.0.12* Not intuitive, unreliable, has made the whole process of booking a lot more difficult. I don’t understand why the company paid to have the app made way worse. We’ve been going to DT for years and now all of our info has been deleted (dog profiles, appointments, etc) oh but the credit card info is still intact. ### 1/5 — Webcam won’t WORK *2026-01-23, version 2.0.12* Seriously would love to see the webcams to make sure my dog is doing good but I keep getting the stupid ad about the Dash thing and it literally will NOT play the webcam it only shows the ad playing over and over. ### 1/5 — Need new UX *2025-10-19, version 2.0.9* The app each time I log in asks me if I want a tour. You need to change the logic to make sure that if someone says no and I’m sure they are not getting the pop up EVERY time they use the app. There also is often a bug or something that prevents the app from the loading the details for my dog. The location is also very convenient. ### 5/5 — Dogtopia New Orleans *2026-03-21, version 2.0.15* We boarded our Border Collie for a total of 3 weeks recently and was so very happy with the facility, the Staff and the programs they have there. The facility is kept super clean and the Staff is stellar. They are dog people and care for your dog as if it were theirs. Brandon provided excellent care and guidance for our pup , Calypso. She loved all the handlers there and was so happy to see her family and friends away from home. The socialization she got from staying there has made a significant difference in her behavior. The programs are fantastic and Calypso had big fun in them. We really enjoyed watching Calypso on the webcams through the day! Calypso loved her experience there and we are so appreciative of the care and attention that was given to her. A Huge Thanks to All at Dogtopia in New Orleans!!!
