## What is Dogtrace GPS 2.0?

The Dogtrace GPS app is designed for use with the Dogtrace DOG GPS X30 / X40. The device is used for locating dogs up to a distance of 20 km. You can use Bluetooth to transmit your dogs' data from the DOG GPS X30 / X40 receiver to the phone app, display them on maps and record their routes as well as yours. Other handlers' receivers can be paired to your receiver and also displayed on the map. The DOG GPS X30T / X30TB / X40T / X40TB version allows you to use the app to control the built-in electronic training collar. The app now allows you to use your Apple Watch smartwatch.

- compass function with clear display of direction and distance to all dogs

- dog bark detection including dog bark recording on the map

- geo-fence, circular fence (virtual boundary for dogs) with the possibility of automatic correction of the dog when leaving the geo-fence

- setting up alerts (tone, vibration, text) for dog movement/stopping, leaving/entering the geo-fence (virtual fence), loss of RF signal from the collar

- adjusting the period (speed) of transmitting the position from the collar

- the possisibility to use the app with the Apple Watch smartwatch

The app works flawlesly and its very easy to work with thy system (compared to the remote). However we discovered very bad flaw. The circle fence has in default turn “gets inside” as a shock starter. This should definitely be turn as gets out of area in default!

I like the product works great however slight glitch with the app which is that I use it with VoiceOver which is Apple‘s screen reading accessibility feature for blind people turned on all of the controls for the collars are hidden but the instant you turn VoiceOver off my sighted wife can actually see the controls. Even when I turn screen curtain off with VoiceOver on when she tries to do the same thing, it disappears. This is accessibility issue. Thank you for your time and your product.
