The only things preventing it from being a 5-star app are the inability to parse text strings for date/time settings, in addition to syncing with the native Reminder app. Otherwise it is solid. I really like the countdown in this version (something missing from other Reminder apps). I think with a few tweaks they will become one of the best in class. **Developer response:** 1. Parsing text to date is possible, I was thinking about it too, but priority for such feature is low, because there it so much people who asked about other features, like iPad support, etc. 2. This app works little differently from Reminder app, DIQ don't have folders, don't have repeats, location reminders, notes and other stuff. So such synchronisation will be not perfect. Despite the fact that I still thinking about location reminders and repeats, I don't have plans to add folders, because it make the app more complex: instead of quickly add a reminder person have to choose a folder, create it if it wasn't created, fight with folder edit/delete, etc etc. I want to keep this app simple as possible, because simplicity is what make it special. But thank you for your opinion, ideas and time. Really appreciate it! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Forget this app! *2021-09-05* Can’t figure out this thing. Just have to give up after an hour and getting no where. ### 1/5 — iOS 13 incompatability *2019-09-28, version 1.5.2* Before the iOS 13 update, this App worked well. It was simple to use and efficient. Since the latest iOS update however, it no longer works. ### 2/5 — Hard to see in bright light *2017-11-08* Simple and free. But cannot control contrast of text and background. Hard to see it bright light. ### 2/5 — No iPad support? *2017-08-05, version 1.5.2* The original was brilliant in every way, I can't see why a replacement was brought out that seems to not be as capable as the original, surely the original could have just been updated? This has no iPad support unlike the original and therefore makes it inferior. Such a shame as I loved using the original app, it was actually brilliant. There's quite a bit of work to be done here for seemingly no good reason - why couldn't the old app have just been updated? ### 2/5 — Not As Good As The Old Version! *2017-05-05, version 1.0* This new version doesn't have a widget & some themes are locked - with seemingly no way to lock them! I'm going back to the better, but no longer supported older version. ### 3/5 — Add feature *2021-09-22* Add feature so notification sound rings more than once and until stopped so as not to be missed then auto shuts off after x amount of time. Ability to choose different sounds for different events would be nice in the future. I want the sound to notify me. If I have to look at the app to be reminded, that’s useless, I might as well just open my calendar. Add ability to schedule repeat events, like once a month or designated date, just once and not have edit date after each occurrence. ### 3/5 — Developer note *2018-11-06* Will update soon however- requests -1) I need it to work when the app is open or closed so after a week & I forget, it still works 2) I need a dependable volume setting even if the ringer is off. Like if your driving a car with the window down or you don't want ringer volume but you do want reminding. 3) no fancy life managing lists of tasks, just one reminder 4) no snooze, no recurring, no synching, Just please remind me at a set time and make it loud. 5) I'll pay for good apps with no ads. ### 3/5 — Foot quickly 2 *2017-05-19* Love the first one better you could change the colors this one is blah and boring. I still do love how easy it is to use and works well keeping me on track. **Developer response:** Hi, this changes wasn't without meaning behind. This is actually what almost every user from 1st version asked me about almost every week. So I can't ignore it and changed the way how themes work. The idea behind it: now you can mark by color individual cards to notice most important events in the card list. Also there is different notification sound attached to different card sound. That's another feature that A LOT of users from 1st version dreaming about. Now when I implemented it, nobody even say "thanks" for it… P.S. Indeed themes has little visual changes, because I decide to keep one simple idea: make white title contrasted against any background card color. So I low down colors to make the title be readable. ### 3/5 — Application IPAD *2017-05-18, version 1.2* La première version était formidable,mais Doitquickly 2 n'offre pas le mode "Paysage" dans l'application IPAD,ce qui est très dérangeant . Je l'utilise avec mon IPhone et pourquoi on ne peut pas synchroniser les 2 appareils?Ce serait un plus pour l'application. ### 3/5 — Debating ? *2017-05-05, version 1.0* I thought the first version was awesome,I used it all the time and still do. The new has locked colours now and are you planning on bringing back the widget for it. I understand your situation with losing code for the original version but so far I'm not sure if I'll use Ver.2,I'll just stick with the first until it's obsolete and no longer works for me. The new additions are nice but I still prefer the previous one.
