## What is Doku?

Northern line, crossed with "Zone 1". One cell, two criteria, one name to find. Angel works. Morden doesn't.

That's Doku. A 3×3 grid, nine cells, and at every intersection an answer that has to satisfy the row AND the column. Same idea as sudoku, except you fill it with metro stations, countries or heroes instead of digits.

Metrodoku: Paris, London, New York. Lines, terminus stations, boroughs, interchanges.
Geodoku: countries, capitals, and now the 101 French departments and the 50 US states. Flags, currencies, languages, state capitals, coastlines, rivers.
Loldoku: League of Legends champions.
Pokédoku: all 1025 species.
Dotadoku: Dota 2 heroes, nicknames included. Type "cm" or "antimage" and search keeps up.

You choose which ones appear on your home screen. Hide the rest, without losing any of your scores.

Everyone answers King's Cross. Answer something else. The rarer your answer among today's players, the more it scores. A grid finished in thirty seconds with the nine obvious answers is worth very little.

Miss a day and the streak goes back to zero. Add friends and compare today's grid cell by cell: you find out fairly quickly who was bluffing about knowing the metro.

Such a fun, unique game! I love all the different variations and daily grids, it’s a great way to challenge my mind while having fun. Plus there’s constantly new grids being added, which keeps it interesting.

We started with Tube stations because our son is obsessed and it’s a great way to keep everyone entertained on long journeys but we’ve now branched out into countries and capital cities. Really great fun, very clever, great app functionality  and the perfect free game. The ads aren’t overwhelming if you don’t want to pay (but if you do it doesn’t cost the earth). Can’t wait to see the new categories being launched.

J’adore Meteodoku, geodoku est pas mal aussi, mais j’adorais vraiment Cinedoku. C’est trop dommage que ça ait disparu!

Le concept est vraiment bien ! Tellement bien que parfois un peu addictif, sans pour autant prendre de temps (5 minutes par jour, pas plus !)
Personnellement j’y joue pour metrodoku mais il y a d’autres modes qui peuvent être tout aussi sympas pour ceux qui aiment les sujets en question (géographie, pokemons…)
Et le développeur est attentif aux remarques des joueurs. Je conseille vraiment :)
