It's a great mash up of 2d platformer and puzzler. The game has a creative story line, charm and perfectly matches up with the games chalk like graphics. Kudos to the developers on creating a unique game that has different elements and making it work. I've been looking for a game like this for a long time. ### 5/5 — Great puzzle platformer with unique artwork *2014-11-30* GungHo deserves a lot of credit for localizing Dokuro to the English-speaking world, as this is a challenging puzzle platformer game with unique, charming artwork that evokes shadowbox puppetry theaters, an artform that has steadily lost ground to newer forms of entertainment on the television or on the computer screen. I paired this with the MadCatz mfi controller and it is like my iPhone 6 has become a top tier game console. Dokuro is well worth your time and cash. The latest update added "ads," but only on the title screen, and the only one i've seen was a link to download dokuro wallpapers. So yeah, if that sounds frightening to you then i guess you might not want to download it. But the game is very fun, challenging at times, and looks great. Really? REALLY??? If you're considering buying this for the first time, don't. The game itself isn't bad, it's one of trial and error with nice graphics/aesthetics. For them to suddenly try and put in the ads though, is just plain insulting. They've done well progressing the game so that it doesn't become stale, good environments and a fun little story. I was on the last level, played a little bit at a time over months. Now since IOS 8.0, now 8.02, I've lost all my data, tried to start over and it crashes constantly. Plus it won't save. 😪 ### 4/5 — Eh.. I like the art *2013-12-13* Games kinda boring at first. All you do is jump and attack using the same moves over and over and over again.. The puzzle strategy is always fun. To be honest i was expecting something a little different but I'm not gunna lie it's a great time killer.
