### 3/5 — Over this app

*2026-05-05, version 4.1.7*

Frequent crashes for years. Disappearing new items after saving to a list. I open my app today and find most of my life lists gone. So I go ahead and restore from back ups and then proceed to lose all my today, tomorrow and later tasks. And every life list has every item duplicated. Their sync troubleshooting reported and still reports no problems and finds no duplicates to remove. I appreciate losing important items. Pretty much the opposite of what this app is supposed to do. Find something more polished instead. I’m going to.

### 2/5 — Please fix this

*2026-01-03, version 4.1.7*

I wanted to just go to the cooking list and put oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and went to details and put the recipe in the details thing and it didn’t let me do it.I tried again still no. And with other ones

### 3/5 — Sharing grocery list bug

*2025-11-30, version 4.1.7*

There’s an issue in the share list feature in the app. When I press on the share list button with the intent to share the grocery list I wrote down to a friend via the app to Apple message. The message is unrelated to what I had wrote in the grocery list on the app.
I absolutely love the convenience of this app and that’s the only issue I have come across thus far.

### 4/5 — Love

*2025-09-05, version 4.1.7*

This used to be my very favorite to do app! I used it for years and never wanted to switch. Recently it crashes every time I try to use it. Would love an update.

### 4/5 — Simple and functional

*2025-05-08, version 4.1.7*

It is a marvel of simplicity and functionality. A step further would be to make it “associable” to a calendar.

### 3/5 — Constant Crashing!

*2025-03-07, version 4.1.6*

The app worked wonderfully since I have downloaded it around 2 year ago, however, it now crashes the minute I launch the app. Really disappointed as I use this regularly for shopping lists when I do my daily errands.

### 3/5 — 希望增加支持中文

*2025-03-04, version 4.1.6*

I hope to increase support for Chinese.

### 5/5 — VERY Helpful!!

*2024-09-09, version 4.1.5*

I use this to keep that list of things I need to do and eventually get to. It helps having this list available for when I have time or need that reminder.

### 4/5 — Do.list

*2024-07-13, version 4.1.5*

Love this app. Easy to use, not complicated. I use it often. Only wish I could excess it as a Complication on the iwatch. Hopefully it can be done soon as it would be more convenient & Useful .🤞🤞. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 Stars.

### 4/5 — New at this app

*2024-04-11, version 4.1.5*

I’ve been looking for an app that breaks things into categories… today, groceries, work… etc. This does that! I’m still in the learning curve for efficient utilization. But it is fairly self explanatory.
Of all the lists, I like the “idea” the best. It is more colorful and that increases contrast .A very good thing for low vision people like me. I NEED a project planner that breaks tasks down into first second third steps… one that says do this step, then you can do this step… like put gas in lawnmower then go cut grass. I’m hoping I can do this with this app. As I said, the learning curve has not yet leveled out in my little brain!
I am anxious to get the “daily tasks” lined out so it can line me out! I get distracted with so many things needing attention,I overlook simple but necessary tasks! Like water my orchids. (yes orchids like daily water, just not retaining any water).
I don’t need the movie list, but the book list is handy dandy. And so it goes…. You make what you want of this app. And soon as I am as smart as it is, I’ll be giving it five stars.

### 5/5 — Simple and Effective

*2024-04-06, version 4.1.5*

I just downloaded 5 to do list apps and deleted all but this one. Why you may ask, too many bells and whistles for a to do list. Honestly I wanted a simple app that would allow me to have multiple lists so I could track my personal, work and school stuff, that’s it. The other apps added layers of complexity that was NOT necessary for a to do list app and way too much effort to navigate. This app is to the point, easy to switch from list to list and easy to create a new list. Thank you for the app and sincerity of this app.

### 3/5 — Too blocky, no ipad

*2024-01-26, version 4.1.5*

UI is too boxy and hard to get into a minimal state. Very good groupings and functionality. This could be a great app! Not going to seek a refund, may revisit later.
When an app says there’s going to be an ipad version, there should be an ipad version—particularly when the ipad version screenshots look ipad version-functional. Didn’t even try to see what the watch might look like due to this.

### 5/5 — Customer Support

*2024-01-03, version 4.1.5*

I had a recent issue with DO.List and I reached out to request assistance. I was very satisfied with the support received. I was able to resolve my issue. I have been a user of Do.List for many years and I have tried other apps but none compare with Do.List. I use it on my iPhone and IPad and the app works awesome.

### 5/5 — So helpful!

*2023-11-22, version 4.1.5*

I’ve been using this for years. Works perfectly and keeps me organized!

### 5/5 — Outstanding App (• ◡•)

*2023-08-22, version 4.1.5*

Gollee I was amazed at this do.list when I first gazed at it. I been needing this and have tried BIG LOTS of other “To Do” apps; but NEVER USE THEM. Now I can delete all of the others. This one is …THE ONE. I want to make a recurring to do item. Still haven’t figured that out. I can move it each time I complete it, i.e. “Get Yard Mowed by 10am”, I suppose. Don’t want to have to set that task up each week.

### 5/5 — Use it every day

*2023-08-11, version 4.1.5*

This is such a random app that I’ve never heard of and no one else I know has - but I’m obsessed with it. I have my entire life organized within the confines of this app, and I use it every day.

### 3/5 — Disregard previous review

*2023-06-05, version 4.1.5*

I think I’ve figured it out. You have to use life lists with other do list app. I’ll work on learning that better.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App not working for last week

*2025-03-20, version 4.1.6*

I used to love this app and used it often but it seemed to have crashed on the last day it was updated with a “bug fix” and now won’t open at all. I’m not having issues with any other apps. Have emailed developer about 4 days ago but with no response yet.
Hope they fix it as it was a useful app, but as of right now it won’t do anything and looks like I’ve lost all my lists.

### 1/5 — Love it- when it doesn't crash

*2023-12-21, version 4.1.5*

Best app yet. Except it crashes repeatedly in my phone- won't open.
Please fix it! It's a great, intuitive, easy to use app!

### 1/5 — Basic functionality doesn’t work

*2023-04-12, version 4.1.5*

I liked the simplicity of the app but basic functions don’t actually work.
* When moving an item to today, tomorrow, or later it moves the wrong item so it takes a lot of shuffling to get them in the right place.
* When moving shopping list items up or down it moves them back to their original spot.
* When editing a title or details, clicking update does nothing. Sometimes it works the 2nd time but usually it does nothing even after 6 tries.

The same glitches still exist since my review over a year ago. Lots of better apps out there!

### 1/5 — It’s not like it use to be.

*2021-01-28, version 4.1.5*

I use to love this app!!! Now it just glitches on me, when I try to repot an issue that button does nothing. So sad I’ve used this app for so long it has everything I needed.

### 1/5 — Refund

*2020-12-05, version 4.1.5*

I wish I could get a refund. None my lists are syncing or sharing.

### 1/5 — 記錄會無預警清空

*2020-10-07, version 4.1.5*

某天忽然把我每天最常用的幾個記錄完全清空，還自動變更了顯示語言，想哭⋯⋯

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2020-09-03, version 4.1.5*

I currently cannot use this app be a it crashes each time I try to open a list.

### 1/5 — No veo español. Solo Ingles

*2020-08-22, version 4.1.5*

En configuración no veo la opción de cambiar idiomas

### 1/5 — Russian language

*2020-08-09, version 4.1.5*

Add Russian language🤬

### 1/5 — Do not buy this app--it secretly collects all your data

*2020-08-02, version 4.1.4*

From this app‘s privacy terms:

“You consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This includes the collection, processing, and sharing of personal information for the purposes set forth herein. If you do not agree to any Do.List terms, please delete the app and cease the use of all Do.List services.”

“You consent to Do.List's use of data collected through services on your phone, for marketing purposes....”

And don’t be confused: the data that it is collecting is not anonymized, and it is used for the author‘s profit. Even worse, the author also says that he will share (sell) your data to others.

This is completely unethical and unacceptable behavior. Do not buy this app. Update 8/2/20: The developer says that he does not do these things and that I am making unfounded accusations. I stand by what I say until I find that he has changed his terms of service.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2026-07-15, version 4.2.0*

The Do List is the best organization app! I use it daily to stay on top of errands , etc.

### 5/5 — Easy to Use, Full of Features, and Versatile

*2026-07-01, version 4.2.0*

UPDATE, YEARS LATER: I'm not the world's most doing-things guy, but when I feel the need to organize outside my own head, I still go here and I still find it easy, simple, and supremely satisfying. It works the way my mind works. My search for a better To Do Organizer ended when I found this one. Amazing how it calms me down and makes me feel productive. I still say, God bless the creator(s) of this app, and Apple should give them tons of money and put it on every device.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Best organizer I’ve tried. And I’ve tried many.

I like keeping my To Do’s separate from my long range calendar. There’s less revising that way. This has all the calendar I need for my To Do’s —that is, three days: Today, Tomorrow, and Later. That’s how I think, and I bet I’m not alone.

This is a tool, not an overlord. It can handle complicated if you want, but it can stay simple, too—even when you are using it for lots of things. Sorting necessary tasks into “Today” and “Tomorrow” and “Later” allows for real life planning AND DOING and doesn’t get overwhelming. You can park your other tasks into the various “Life” lists (which are genius as templates), keeping your projects there, and then transfer tasks from those projects to your Today-Tomorrow-Later lists as need arises. (And doing that is a one-step operation. Brilliantly simple!). It all connects together easily and beautifully. Apple should buy this app and sell it with their operating system.

As the app’s guidance says (in helpful but not intrusive reminders), keeping your daily To Do’s to around 5 a day means that you don’t get overwhelmed and that you have a chance of getting them done. That’s true for me, anyway; maybe I stop and smell the roses too much. (You can go to a higher number if needed, but I avoid those kinds of days.)

This app really helps me feel successful at day’s end without feeling frazzled. Hits the sweet spot. Organizing for the next day is a simple matter and almost a pleasure. THANK YOU, Mr./Ms. Developer. You are very smart. And kind, to be sharing this neat app with us mortals.

Almost forgot: there’s no subscription!! You buy the package and it’s yours! Perfect!

### 5/5 — Postive review

*2026-05-19, version 4.1.7*

This app is soo good I love it so much I have only had it for like 2 days but this has changed on how organised I am I really love it

### 5/5 — Need this to survie

*2026-05-14, version 4.1.7*

Highly reccomend

### 5/5 — List

*2026-03-21, version 4.1.7*

I like this list app very much. It would improve it if you had the ability to add things mid list not just at the top or the bottom. It would also be nice to be able to rearrange the order of the items.

### 5/5 — Solid and promising app

*2026-02-26, version 4.1.7*

I've only had the app a few days. The app has an impressive, sound and practical design. Operates seamlessly thus far.

### 5/5 — Keep coming back to this one

*2026-01-31, version 4.1.7*

It’s super intuitive and simple but also chock full of useful features. I like it has no subscriptions. It’s a really thoughtful app.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-11-27, version 4.1.7*

This app is definitely easy to use and very organized. I love it!!!! I am enjoying using it. Thank you so much.

### 5/5 — The Absolute Best, but Buggy

*2025-08-11, version 4.1.7*

This is the absolute best app I’ve found for any kind of scheduling or lists. It’s full of features but still simple enough to be functional . Best of all: no paywalls or ads.

However. There are some bugs I’ve encountered, nothing deal-breaking but enough to frustrate me at times. Sometimes the app crashes randomly- or at least, I haven’t been able to determine the cause, unless it’s just clicking too many buttons too fast.

The other thing that really caused me problems is when I tried to rearrange the life lists yesterday- it took around around half an hour when it should have taken 2 minutes. The icons wouldn’t go to the right places, and dragging one where I wanted it seemed to move several to a random spot. But now they’re all in the order I want and staying there, so I won’t have to deal with that again.

### 5/5 — Venting! Brilliant

*2025-06-13, version 4.1.7*

I’ve had this app for years - severely underused !
Today for the first time I used the “For Venting” category. OMG! Absolutely brilliant. And it did the job. I used talk to text on my keyboard and didn’t have to call a friend to let me vent! Thank you!
I can see more venting in my future
