The text checks aren’t always the best. I also USED TO use the widget that keeps your balance refreshed at a glance but that became outdated before iOS 18.0 (those keeping track, we’re on iOS 26.4.1). I kept my old phone on the oldest iOS version I could to keep that feature but iOS has just forced the updates about a week ago. Now I won’t have that. It’s a shame because most other banks offer that. ### 2/5 — Horrible app *2026-02-12, version 24.2.1* The app is going to destroy this bank. The app lags horribly with connecting or even launching. You have to enter your login info numerous times and HOPE it moves to the next screen. The constant having to confirm yourself with passcodes is ridiculous when the device is recognized. You can be connected to your home WiFi or even just a regular tower and it still has a major delay or buffer. I lock my card and then you can’t log in for HOURS. Or the card part is loading for hours!! I would love a budget assistance. Dollar Bank is not evolving with the other banks and it’s sad. I have had Dollar Bank since National City closed. I need more budgeting support! The bill pay process is actually HORRIBLE! My bill was lost in the mail, was never informed and my late fees weren’t covered off of a mistake that they made. ### 3/5 — Display Issue *2025-06-08, version 24.1.9* I am using this app on a Mini IPad and part of the display is cut off. It will show transactions but the resulting balance is not displaying. Cash app has an infinitely faster and better app, there shouldn’t be such a gap between the two when one of them is an actual bank. Security is good everything requires you to either receive a text message, call, or email to verify, but I do wish some was optional. Gets very annoying when getting spammed by text messages. There should also be an option to copy and paste your card number. Hope y’all understand and implement more and greater features, or at minimum optimize the current existing ones. ### 1/5 — Won’ t let me log in *2025-02-10, version 24.1.0* Username and password are correct. Keeps telling me to call the bank yet I can log into the site online. I can not do my mobile deposit because of this. The stress isn’t worth it. I will be closing my account after my tax return arrives and I’ll never look back. Please please please!!! Choose a different bank. Error.. *2025-02-05, version 24.1.0* When I can actually make it past the log in screen without an Error pop up, im met with more of the same. Go to view my account, Error. Want to change my log in setting to Face ID, Error. Want to update my account settings, Error. Or it just boots me from the App all together. Its been like this for years now. Update after update, but nothing ever changes. I was hoping after the big redesign a couple years back that things would change for the better, but its just as glitchy as before. I wish it had the feature that automatically recognizes the check and captures the right photo in order to deposit it. Manually taking the picture only to wait forever to validate and tell you it’s no good it’s repeatedly frustrating. Get rid of that trash or at least put an ok button, so where it’s not blocking out people for no reason. Even if somebody did root their device, that’s on them if something happens, however that is NOT EVEN THE CASE HERE! I don’t know why I’m getting that error! I’m so fed up with Dollar Bank for multiple reasons, soon I’ll just have to move all my money to a bank that can have a working app. Edit: In response to the developer’s response here, I ALREADY HAVE contacted support, got an email saying it would be forwarded and that I’d hear back, and now nearing a month later, I’ve still gotten no further response or help at all.
