So I have to try and find an in store scanner, which many stores don’t have. I was hopeful the update would make price checking easier and more accurate not 5x worse than before ### 2/5 — Update is awful *2026-06-29, version 1.5.2* The updates made a week ago, make the app unreliable and practically useless. Like why not ? Send it back to a company or the trash when the person took about probably an hour finding penny items . Also there should be scanners at every store and they should be working!! I’m giving you guys 3 stars for now due to a lot of products is not listed on the app. A lot of Bpure brand, war head, glade, some of crayola, socks and so on. When are you guys updating this? Other than that this is a friendly user app. I love that u don’t have to keep clicking button to check price. you can keep scanning items without going back and forth for the price scanner. There’s so much more that would be great if it could do. #1 frustration is the limited favorites list. #2 Need to be able to order from the app. #3 Easier functionality to show closest availability if something is not in stock at my store from favorites list. I’m in a DT an avg of 2x a week just to find items and I have to try 3 different stores to find things. ### 3/5 — Not Fully Optimized *2026-06-05* As much as I love Dollar Tree, I feel like the app is useless. This can go in many different directions as this app has so much potential, they only show you a fraction of what product stores nearby you sell, so out of the thousands of products in store, the app will show 1/10 of it, you can’t buy anything on their app minimum quantity or no minimum quantity, and the app is inaccurate, showing no stock on products that in-stores do have. A feature I wish existed was a buy online and pick up in store option was available, the amazing store prices online and just show up and pick it up, no long lines and strain on store fronts and price gouging or restrictions to how much you can buy one item. Please do something with this app, you have the funds to do so. ### 2/5 — Useless trash *2026-06-03, version 1.5.1* the website on safari or google browsers has a different inventory and stock availability than the app. so what's the point of the app if it's inaccurate and doesn't show the correct search results? ### 2/5 — app bugs and is stuck *2026-05-06* i can’t change the location of my store so i can’t check availability for items at other locations. it’s stuck at a location i haven’t even been to and won’t switch over no matter how many times i try and change “my store” also when i checked the website, its not pulling up multiple things that i KNOW are in store because I was in store literally the night before. inventory needs to be done more often or something. ### 4/5 — ok *2026-04-07, version 1.3.27* It was alright, but very often it says "Try again! An error has occurred. Please try again later". This is rly getting on my nerves. And honestly i wish there was an option where you can add stuff to a cart instead of adding things to your favorites. ### 1/5 — Poor *2026-03-25* This app is extremely disappointing. You can’t actually place orders through it, which makes it feel almost useless. It also doesn’t show whether items are in stock, so you end up thinking products are available when they’re not. I tried to order items I saw in the app through Instacart, and about half of them weren’t available at all. That’s very frustrating and a huge waste of time. Overall, the app needs major improvement to be functional and reliable. ### 1/5 — Dollar tree app *2026-03-16* The Dollar Tree app is extremely frustrating to use. It doesn’t allow customers to simply add a single item to their cart. Instead, you’re forced to purchase large quantities of products, even if you only want one item. That approach doesn’t make much sense from a customer experience standpoint. Many shoppers just want to grab one or two things for in-store pickup, not an entire case. The ordering process is confusing and restrictive, especially when trying to use in-store pickup. The app doesn’t feel intuitive, and the overall experience seems outdated compared to modern retail apps. Navigation is clunky, features feel limited, and it doesn’t reflect the level of convenience people expect from a retail app in 2026. Overall, the app feels poorly designed and not very useful for everyday shoppers. Improving the technology, updating the interface, and allowing flexible purchase quantities would make a big difference. Right now, it feels like the app hasn’t kept up with the times and could really benefit from a major update and stronger technical support behind it. ### 1/5 — No purchasing on the app? *2026-03-11, version 1.3.26* What’s the purpose of this app? Why can’t I purchase anything on the app, yet I can on the website? And the website is HORRIBLE too! If you try to search for an item, the search bar starts filling out with some random item not any item with the letters I’m trying to type in. This is my favorite place to go. Lots of crafting ideas and tons of stuff to make you feel like a girl or a man. Plus stuff for your fur or furless family too. Hopefully they will all have a fridge section. I am sorry for the days I was so poor that I took things to survive. I still shop there even when I have money to repay the fact they never put me in jail when i took what I needed. I confess today openly to get others to do the same and to heal us all. No shame for the poor in the same situation the wealthy would do the same. I have stood on many street corners as a woman to prove a point the men get far more money then the woman do. They judge me think I am an addict. Nope I stand out there now so god can judge them I am saved. They are not. Or they would help others.
