It's exactly what I needed, a blocker with the granularity to exclude individual pictures. A website I frequent has a particulary obnoxious GIF that flashes incessantly. This extension got rid of it and seems to have left everything else intact. If the app detects that you haven’t set-up blocker settings in your browser, it will prompt you with a link to go to settings and fix it. However, it instead brings you to “Domain & URL Blocker” settings, which is not where you need to go. 2. Every now and again a Google domain slips through but that’s to be expected. My only wish is that it had logs on what’s causing site breakage and when after you block certain domains. I Play a lot of Words with Friends and have no issue with the Quid pro Quo of having to click away adverts. What I hate are the adverts (mainly diet pills at time of writing) which hide the url hotspot on the close button. This app, once enabled as a browser extension in settings, allows me to simply enter a domain (e.g. secrethealthbulletin.com) and their sites will never load. However, there is still something I'd like from this app as well: exceptions. If there are rules for blocking then I think that there should be exceptions to those rules as well. And maybe even a nifty little extension in safari toolbar to turn a URL into an exception easily. This app is easily 5 stars for how easy it is and how little fluff there is. I gives the ability to block exactly what I want using custom strings in regex. For those who meed help building the string you can visit regular expressions 101. There is a string verifier. Thank you for this wonderful App. ### 5/5 — Perfect *2023-07-24, version 1.1* This, to me, is the gold standard of apps. It is tiny yet mighty with no ads or payments. Over the past 6 months I have had 2 pregnancy losses and discovered my third pregnancy a few days ago. The losses and recent conception have led me to research things about my health that only scare me, so I decided to try a content blocking app. It has made me feel much better. My only suggestion is to add password protection so that a responsible party can moderate. Thank you for putting your time into this app, Yifei.
