## What is Dominus plus?

Dominus Plus - visionary clock with alarm, timer, and chimes for a man from a future. Dominus won the FWA and Silver A Design Award. 

Dominus Plus is an application which turns your iPad or iPhone into a stylishly artistic, powerfully aesthetic clock which looks like it’s come from a classic sci-fi movie.

It expresses the time in the way which you’ve never seen before – by three groups of dots, representing hours, tens of minutes and minutes and with a line for seconds. Dot combinations mimic the traditional clock face. The time of day can be gathered from the colour of the dots (green for AM and yellow for PM). The application comes up with other functions such as a timer, an alarm clock and chimes. The alarm clock has three types of sounds composed by Łukasz Grzejek who was inspired by Thomas Newman’s soundtrack for the movie “American Beauty”. Setting both the alarm clock and the timer is easily done by merely highlighting the desired number of dots and simply tapping the triangle button. Navigation between all these functions is achieved by discreet corner dots. Tapping these dots change the main screen to the selected view (upper left – clock, upper right – settings, bottom left – timer and bottom right – alarm clock). Double tap to dim the time screen.

I currently have 11 clock/alarm apps on my phone because I love downloading a lot of apps to try them out & keep the ones I like. Out of the 11 alarm clock apps I've tested, this one is in my top 2, probably top #1. It's simple but stylish, reliable, works perfectly for me & works in the background. One of the things I love about this app is the alarm sounds are actually NICE to listen to. So many alarm apps are ruined for me because the alarm only has loud unpleasant annoying alarm sounds. This one has the most lovely soothing alarm chimes. I love waking up to the soothing chimes on this app.
