I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to order four pizzas through the app. Nothing difficult, two cheese pizzas gluten-free light sauce light bake. Two pizzas one sausage one ham, gluten-free light sauce, light bake. The online app would never let me actually place an order even though I went and made all the selections and hit the split button to put it in the cart and nothing would happen. I backed out made sure I signed in and signed back in. Did that several times still never let me place the order. The next step I did was to call the business and the AI kept entering the selections wrong. Once I got the selections all placed the AI changing my card number my expiration date, my security code several times. It then offered to connect me to the store but nothing would happen. All I could hear was dead air, and then other noises like it was an actual live store situation. No real person to be found. If it wasn’t for the gluten-free pizzas and the way that they can bake them light. I’m not sure I would go back to this place or Donatos in general that is. You really need to fix your app and your AI in store.

App is extremely glitchy. At first it wouldn’t accept my address that I had previously saved. Now it won’t even allow me to add pizzas to the order. The final straw is I gave up and my bf got a completely different price on his app.

Can’t log on with existing account information. Created New account but hitting the place order button does nothing, no error messages, no confirmation messages. Just no change in the screen. Over all app is unresponsive and the flow does not make sense.

The app and online ordering is TERRIBLE!! Even the employees at multiple locations complain about the online experience. And bore that you have to call and get a third party you’re almost forced to use the online version and the developer is TERRIBLE!!! Please, please, please….., please someone at Donatos get this taken care of!!

You should add a notification letting us know that a food delivery service is going to be used to deliver our food before we submit the order so we can cancel it because I have never once gotten my food warm or hot since you started using them.

This is my favorite pizza to order for delivery or to-go, but the app always has an issue for me. It’s been months since it has properly displayed loyalty reward points, and the app is to my knowledge the only way to earn rewards. Would be a 5/5 if this was resolved.

The UI is already not the best looking, but now 5-6 separate times I have tried to place an order only to have the app glitch out and not allow me to complete my order. They offer 2 deals at my nearest location and when I use the app to try to redeem one of the deals, by the time I try to go to my cart to checkout, the app glitches and removes one of my items. It happens over and over again and eventually I give up and spend more money than they advertise, I leave the app and go to the website on my computer, or I have to call the store. Extremely frustrating.

I can never order from the app. It always says invalid token. I thought my phone was old and thought that was the reason. I got a new phone and I still cant order from the app.

App now opens, so that’s an improvement. However, when placing an order, it says the location is closed on that day. And every other location and day says the same thing. 

This is just embarrassing from a large company. Hire an actual app developer who knows what they’re doing. There was a time when this app worked perfectly fine, and now it’s always broken. What are you doing?

Fix your site! If you try to free text anything, whether it is your contact info, tip, or credit card number, the page gets cut off and you cannot hit submit to go to the next page when ordering a pizza. Extremely annoying. This renders the app completely useless on your phone and forces you to login on a computer.

They will make you sign in every time and if you somehow forget your password, they will send you an email which they never sent. I don’t understand why I have to login into an app just wouldn’t order a pizza. It should save everything but it doesn’t and it will again and again

App frequently does not work. From not accepting cards and not allowing a change of location. I had to create a new account just to get the app to change where it was delivering from. It’s just not very easy to use, frustrating, and buggy. The app sucks. The saving grace is a good rewards program and the pizza is good. But I often found myself cussing when I’m using it. And I’m decently tech savvy.

On this app, I can’t complete my order without a phone number.  When I try to add and save a phone number to my profile, the phone number field remains blank on the checkout page.  I go back to my profile page, the phone number I entered is not there.

I can’t add my phone number at the checkout page (field is grayed out) either so I can’t complete the order.  So I end up going to Pizza Hut or Domino’s.

After inputting my address 3 times, my pizza twice, switching to delivery 3 times, trying to add the deal that didn’t work, and finally inputting my card twice, hitting the order button did nothing. Never loaded, never ordered. Called the store and couldn’t get past the AI chat bot. Don’t bother with Donatos, order somewhere else like I did.

This app is extremely buggy.   It’s just a poor app full stop.  It seems like they did a redesign and used someone unqualified.  The app used to work well a couple years ago, so it makes me wonder what’s going on.  I hardly order anymore, because it’s such a pain.  The worst issue is that the payment feature won’t work. 

Then the developer comments wanting reviewers to help them fix it!  It’s not our job to troubleshoot your app.  Hire someone who knows what they’re doing and fix this junky app.

This app is trash. I have never went through an order without issues on the app. Right now I can’t check out because my deal is on the checkout 2 times and charging me double. Seems like it would be easy to remove 1, but no. Terrible.

Technical errors every time I try to use the app. I feel like I’ve lost a lot of rewards points because of this, which is the whole point of having this app.  Great food, but the app never works properly for me.

That was quite simply the most amazing and fastest ordering experience by phone EVER! North Limestone location in Springfield Ohio. Very accurate! Very impressive in speed, too!! As always, pizza and subs are amazing! I did have an app issue Donatos might need to fix (as it is what forced me to call in my order.) Still very happy customer! Thanks again 🤗

I prefer Donatos pizza over every other kind of pizza, and have for many years. As a 73 years old retired senior woman living alone I have not been able to afford it often. And I used to get reward points quickly to get a free pizza, but Donatos has made it almost impossible now for a single person to get enough reward points for a free pizza. Today they are offering 20% off pickup orders which helps. And my order today finally gets me enough reward points for a free pizza next time. I am happy!

We love Donato's Pizza! We first had it after we were married and lived in Ohio. We transferred to the area 30 years ago and really missed Donato’s. On our way home from trips to visit family in Ohio, we would stop at a Donato’s in Kentucky. We would pick up a pizza, enjoy a few slices and then bring the rest home to savor. We were thrilled when a Donato’s opened not far from where we now live. Thank you for the special offers and the birthday pizza!

After placing my order via the Donatos app, it provides the estimated pick-up time and a link for info on your Refer a Friend program. When I select the Refer a Friend link, I see My Profile, My Addresses, and My Cards, but no info for Refer a Friend. 

I have seen my personal referral link previously. I am signed in to my account and I only have one account, so neither of those are at issue.

Where does one find the Refer a Friend personal link on the Donatos app?

I usually order Donatos. But the app wouldn’t let me select a time for delivery. So I could not get the order entered because it was missing the time. The dominos app worked tonight. I’ll switch back to Donatos when they email me that the app is fixed.
