The log doesn’t show. Same with web version. I have to use the desktop now. ### 1/5 — Updates needed please *2020-02-25, version 4.0.220* Can you please update the app to make it more user friendly? For example if you could add thumb print access instead of having to input the password every time it would be nice. Seems to save username but every time requires you to input a password which is frustrating when the app is unresponsive and closes. You get to put the password in all over again. The calendar doesn’t open when clicking on it and whenever it finally decides to open it just freezes. Mileage defaults always as personal mileage. The app just seems completely clunky, slow and poorly designed. ### 1/5 — Donlen mobile app *2019-11-11, version 4.0.6* Old version at least had all the days on the calendar!!!! New app is horrible. ### 1/5 — Updated version is the worst *2019-10-13, version 4.0.4* Honestly, who likes to log miles. At the the older version worked. This version freezes up, doesn’t display all the info, and frustrates me so much. I waste so much time trying to log miles. I think other reviewers gave the details - doesn’t automatically change the date, etc. Please give me back the old version! Date functionality on iPhone resets to 1999 every time I try to enter mileage and resets several times while I’m trying to enter. I have to log in every time. This costs me 10 min per day! I’m about to just delete and go back to pen and paper. Someone should have tested this before rolling it out. Awful! ### 1/5 — New App Is Terrible *2019-10-04, version 4.0.2* Typically when you release a new app it’s supposed to be an enhancement. This one is a regression! 1. It takes a ton of clicks to get to the page to record mileage. 2. The functionality of the page to enter miles is so bad I cannot even enter them. The date buttons spin uncontrollably when trying to select anything. 3. There is no history show of mileage enter so you have to guess or go to the history page prior to entering it. The primary function of this app I would think is to allow mobile workers to easily input mileage and manage their vehicle so those two things should be the most prominent and easiest things to navigate. ### 1/5 — Worse than before *2019-10-04, version 4.0.2* Just when I thought this app couldn’t get worse you guys prove me wrong! I can’t even scroll the date without it resetting the month and year. I have to log in every time. I have to click around the get to mileage entry. Too many issues to list. Too bad there isn’t 0 stars. Maybe SF should give to coding from the old Daily Drive app to DonlenDriver so we’d have an app that doesn’t add 5 min of hassle to our days. ### 1/5 — Horrible “upgrade “ *2019-10-02, version 4.0.2* Lost thumbprint sign on. Trying to enter the date for logging mileage is torture. Using online site now instead of app. Just terrible. ### 1/5 — Update totally ruined this app *2019-10-01, version 4.0.2* First let me say I thought the old version had issues. But now? I would take the old version back any day. For one, the log in doesn’t remember you every time so you have to put in your password often. Then, even if you only have one car you have to select that car to continue. Then to enter mileage, which you do 99% of the time, it’s not on the home page so that’s 2 more clicks. So that’s password, click, (select car) click, (menu) click, (enter mileage) click. So password and at least 4 clicks to get to where you go 99% of the time!!! Then it gets REALLY bad from there! The default date is the last date you entered mileage. So in other words, you enter mileage on 1/1/19. The default for the next mileage entry is 1/1/19? No recognition to move it forward? Then you change the date, and the month will change. And often the year will go back to 1999??!! Why is that even an option for entering mileage? 2019, done! You seriously have to click/scroll so many times and hope it doesn’t glitch out just to enter ‘no miles driven’. Seriously, at this point I’d rather write my mileage on paper and mail it in. So much easier. ### 1/5 — Won’t load *2019-10-01, version 4.0.2* App won’t load following new update/redesign. ### 1/5 — Broken after update *2019-10-01, version 4.0.2* The app doesn’t open after the update. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Mileage log *2019-07-26, version 3.3.0* Why does the mileage entry date default to Jan 1st of 1980 does DonlenDriver think I am going to be entering mileage from almost 40 years ago.. This app needs to be updated to reflect a current date when entering mileage ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Outdated app, have to sign in every time *2023-07-22* The app is not very smart. You have to log in every time with your password. No iPhone face ID, no fingerprint sign in. Certain functions cause the app to crash. Not the most user friendly app. IT dept needs a complete overhaul on this one. ### 1/5 — Simply Does Not Work *2023-07-14* This app worked for a few months, but now it shows a blank white screen. This isn’t breaking news, as others have reported the same and yet no updates. Deleting and redownloading doesn’t resolve it. Donlen wants you to report mileage but makes it infinitely harder to do so. I wonder why. Don’t bother downloading ### 1/5 — Blank screen *2022-10-21, version 4.0.1983* I go to app -I see nothing but a blank screen with a question mark at the bottom. I click on question mark and it ask how can I help -but there is no help. I remove app and re-upload app -same problem. Have no idea how to get it fixed and I need to log my miles for last month. ### 1/5 — Latest version does not work *2021-03-14, version 4.0.1206* I was forced to update to 4.0.1206 and now it gives a blank white screen on both iPhone and iPad. I assume I must update iOS on both devices, but what a stupid update! Still won’t open. ### 1/5 — Blank Screen *2021-03-07, version 4.0.1206* The app doesn’t work on any device. Blank white screen. But I still get emails to enter my mileage. Multiple days now. Hopefully they see this and fix soon. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2021-03-05, version 4.0.1206* Almost as worthless as Donlens service. ### 1/5 — Poor Performance on Editing *2021-01-05, version 4.0.1166* Each time An edit is needed for mileage the app stalls. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2020-10-08, version 4.0.958* This app is terrible and frustrating to use. 1) Does not allow for face recognition to login. 2) If you are using a username/password that is pasted in from you iCloud Keychain, the login button won’t work until you manually delete the last character of your password and manually type it in. 3) Takes numerous clicks to just get to where you report mileage (and quite frankly, this is the primary reason that vast manly of us use it). 4) The formatting of the mileage reporting is confusing and cumbersome. All of these hoops to jump through just to report miles - something that should literally take less than a minute, yet this app is so poorly written that it would actually be easier and faster to write it on paper and mail it in. ### 1/5 — Application Freezes Up *2020-09-30, version 4.0.958* When I enter my daily mileage and hit submit it freezes up and I have to restart my iPad. This issue started in the last week. Don’t know what changes were made to the app but they were not for the good. Thumb print for iPhone login gone 2. Mileage not on home page 3. When entering mileage defaults and auto populates personal miles have to zero out to enter business mileage.
