And even better to kno it doesn’t come with annoying ads. My only issue is that wen I go to upgrade my character clothes, he never actually changes wen in play mode again. No matter how many times I buy a new upgraded shirt and progress in the game,,,nothing happens! Is this how the game is suppose to be played...??? What’s up wit dat?? What’s, up, wit.... Even if you are cleared the final stage, you can only buy items to the middle level because of lack of gold. Better games out there sorry (try RH Series) ### 2/5 — I'm trying so hard to love it. *2016-11-29, version 1.1.1* ... But the truth is, this game could be so much better. Here's why: - There's typos from about a minute in. - The ads LITERALLY take up the top 30% of the screen in-game at any point that you're not in a dungeon. Map selection, your "home base," and as far as I've seen almost everywhere else is bombarded by ads. It hurts the game so much. I get that this is how developers make money but there isn't even an option to pay to remove the ads. And that sucks. Because I feel like I'm not enjoying it as much as I could be. - The controls are lacking. The sensitivity/input area of the buttons is far too minimal. It makes jumping and attacking extremely difficult. Even just changing directions is a challenge. Part of me enjoys that type of challenge but that's what playing NES is for. I will however say that I'll keep my eye on this game and if I notice improvements I'll change this rating. I really want to. Other than the crap dealt with, the art is great - there's a super fun selection of equipment to upgrade to, and the overall play style of this game - while being a typical "retro" mobile platformer - is so fun to play. ### 2/5 — Disappointing *2016-10-30, version 1.1.1* A few nice ideas here and there in this game, although it is heavily let down by unresponsive controls and poorly thought-out game mechanics. Combat, in particular, is clunky, and sustaining damage is frequently unavoidable; the normal approach in this genre is for enemies to have weaknesses that can be flawlessly exploited with sufficient skill and patience. Its collision detection, furthermore, would have been considered bad 30 years ago. This is basically a poorly executed clone of Devious Dungeons, from which it "borrows" a great deal. ### 2/5 — Ok game, awful controls *2016-10-09, version 1.1.1* Suffers from common touchscreen platformer issues, it's just really hard to make any precise actions, you constantly take damage etc just because of bad controls.
