Meet Crush. Crush is a friendly little miner who loves three things: his hard hat, his pickaxe, and gold. So much gold. He's a simple guy with a simple dream, collect every shiny bar he can find, walk out the cave door, take it all home, retire happy. What could go wrong? Well. The caves are unstable. The rocks have a mind of their own and a strong belief in gravity. The bats living in the ceiling are not fond of visitors. The beetles are worse. And someone, Crush isn't sure who, left a lot of TNT lying around. Crush is going to be fine. Probably. Almost certainly. He has a good attitude. YOUR JOB Help Crush retire. Each level works the same way: collect every bar of gold in the cave, then reach the exit door before something heavy lands on his head. Sounds easy. It definitely is. Every step Crush takes shifts the cave around him. A rock he dug under three moves ago is still up there, waiting. Patient. The bats wake up when you get close. The beetles chase and maybe blow you up, possibly. The TNT goes exactly where you tell it to and then everything in a ten-tile radius stops existing, including, on a bad day, Crush. Twenty-four levels. Each one hand-crafted to look solvable and turn out not to be. You will reset more than you complete. You will sit there for ten minutes thinking about a single tile. You will, eventually, see the move. And when you do, you will feel briefly like a genius, right up until level 13 or probably level 2. THE CAVES The Roost: where bats remember faces. Avalanche: one wrong tile and the whole ceiling comes down. Bomb Shelter: the only way out is the beetles (that's your only hint). Trinitrotoluene: a TNT puzzle that punishes greed, and also patience, and also breathing. And twenty more, getting progressively less reasonable (but it's not that bad, we swear).
