When I heard it was short. I thought I could finish it in like 30 minutes. But, once I found myself strategizing with each room. It started to bite away at me with numerous resets. 

And so after an hour in, I got to the Devil Boss and quit once I saw him spawning the spider & bat at the same time.

While I may complain I do love these little minimalistic games. But, it was just a skill issue on my end.

Es un juego muy hermoso, simple y corto a la vez (no más de 1 hora). Inspira ver como con tan poco diseño se creó una linda historia.
Lo recomiendo. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque le falta poder guardar y porque los controles son un poco toscos a veces

O jogo é bem desafiante quando os controles funcionam. Mas no iPhone 5s é imprevisivel, nao da para confiar no touch dos botoeszinhos. Falham sempre nos piores momentos. Se eu puder jogar num controle Bluetooth com botoes físicos algum dia volto para rever meu rating.

It’s a nice, quick game to play, nothing super crazy. I remember playing it on Cool Math but then Adobe Flash got killed. After looking fir places to play it on, I was surprised to find it here. I definitely recommend this game.

While playing this game on call with two of my friends, We decided to name the MC and the ghost girl Ryan and Bethany. Idk why. Im really fond of Ryan,, He looks like an airpod. He's a silly little guy, I like to imagine he has a gender dysphoria buzz cut (🏳️‍⚧️), wears an oversized hoodie, and has terrible posture. Very fun game. 😋

This is a fantastic short game which makes great use of minimal graphics and takes me back to the heyday of Spectrum and BBCB games. Quite tricky too, very enjoyable.

I used to play this game all the time in 4th grade on cool math, and since you can’t play it anymore i decided to download it on my phone, i'm now in high-school and still like this game, would really love a sequel with even more story :)

After all those trials, the bosses, the monsters you finally make it back with the spirit, only to see yourself standing beside the grave. Then suddenly, you fade away much like how the ghost does when you look at her. The segue back to the beginning screen was gut wrenching as you realize the entire thing wasn't real or was for nothing. I was seriously not expecting something like this from the same devs of VVVVVV, Gravitron and Dicey Dungeons. Well played.

The controls just work sporadically sometimes the character just won’t jump left, sometimes won’t walk right etc when progressing depends on timing jumps on a time limit ie the disappearing steps to come so close but be let down at the last second because the character won’t move it’s an exercise in sheer frustration, I closed the app before I launched my iPad out the window 😂

This was my favorite flash game of all time and I am so grateful it’s been preserved as an app here. It’s perfectly challenging and shockingly beautiful for how simple it is.

ストーリーとか操作性とかそういう問題では無いです。
バグが酷くて操作性以前の問題です。押したボタンが戻らないらしく、一度バグると延々と同じ動きで死に続けてアプリを落とさなくてはいけなくなります。セーブもないので落とすと初めからやり直しです。
初っ端のヘビの所からバグるので全然先に進めません。何度も再起動を繰り返して、洞窟の入り口から少し行った所で諦めました。
ストレスしかないです。

This game is an absolute cinema the final boss was annoying because of it randomness but regardless it’s a short and free masterpiece the plot twist was was the cherry on top it was a simple story but a great one everyone should play this game

Stava giocando con un mio amico a scaricare giochi tarocchi quando troviamo questo , ma è un capolavoro, non ciò capito niente , ma un gioco molto bello e strano, poi la grafica 8 bit molto bella, unica cosa brutta è che dura poco, ma si merita lo stesso le cinque stelle.

I genuinely loved this game from the first time I fumbled my way through many, many, many deaths to get to the end(?).

Having limited space, I would cycle through games on my phone but always come back to this one.

So it lives forever on my 4S just in case.

The original was so good I had to reverse engineer it. (Terry said no for me to publicise my work so no link) Here are the results of my analysis.

Code neatness: 8/10
Some possible crashes could occur under certain circumstances (undefined behaviour)

Graphics style: 9/10
All the graphics looked good, nice to see more animation compared to VVVVVV (even if this game did come before it)

Music and SFX: 9/10
Great soundtrack. The ambience also provides a good atmosphere.

Level design: 10/10
EASILY the best thing about this game. Simplistic yet challenging levels that are really fun.
