## What is doodlar?

Ever imagined seeing your drawings magically rise from the paper? Or watching your doodles pop off the page into real life. It’s straight out of a film. Now with doodlar, you can!

Draw on paper, or on your device's screen and doodlar will recognise what you’ve drawn and bring it to life in front of you. Draw a pig, up pops a pig, watch it walk around and oink about, or give him a belly rub. Draw a dog, then whistle at him to get his attention. Or throw him a ball to keep him happy. Draw a crocodile, and one will snappily appear, just don’t get too close!

Every animal has its own unique interactions and hidden secrets. Every animal has heaps of interesting things to learn about them. From ecological and conservation information, all the way through to some bad dad jokes.

Can you make all the animals come to life? Can you collect all the doodlstars for each one?

Doodlar is free to download, and comes with the full farm animal pack to discover and explore. The in-app shop offers a forest pack, with bears, tigers, rabbits, squirrels and owls and a savannah pack, which has lions, elephants, crocodiles, rhinos and zebras.

I downloaded this app but it’s keep crashing. I deleted couple times but still same issue! Wouldn’t even open

**Developer response:** Hi thank you for the feedback. we’ve noticed that there is an issue with newer devices that have LiDAR, causing the app the crash. We’re working on a fix and will update you when it’s ready.

I hoped my drawings would come to life, not yours. Also it glitches glitchier than the glitches monster. The instructions are also hard! Please fix these things and you’ve got a five star from me.

**Developer response:** Hi Grace, thank you for the review - sorry you’ve not had a great experience. A couple of questions to help us make it a better experience, and a couple of tips to hopefully improve yours. Would be amazing if you can let us know how it works for you.

1) could you explain what you mean by our drawings coming to life?
2) can you let us know what version phone and OS you’re using? We’ve found that some earlier phones have some trouble with it and are a bit glitchy, which we’re looking to fix (new version soon!)

Doodlar works by comparing what you draw to thousands of pictures drawn by other people and then guesses what you’ve drawn from those comparisons. So if it doesn’t recognise what you’ve drawn, try drawing it in different ways.

If you’re using pen and paper, make sure you use a marker, and plain paper.

Almost unusable. I drew a few dogs and pigs and it never recognized.

**Developer response:** Hey kokomania, sorry you’ve had some trouble - if you do decide to try again, try drawing fast, doodlar compares your drawing to thousands of other people’s drawings, all of those other drawings were done in under 20 seconds. So quick is key. If you were using paper and a pen make sure you use a fat pen, and plain paper. Cute game for playing around with doodles, getting better at it and getting a sense for how a full size cow would look like in the middle of your kitchen! The animals are very realistic, adorable and interactive in funny ways. The app also gives fun facts about each animals which is a nice plus.

For real, the massive cow in the middle of our kitchen was a sight to behold.

This update adds support for the iPhone 12 Pro, and iPad pro LiDAR scanners. It gives real world occlusion, so your drawings feel even more real when they come to life.

Hide a sheep behind the sofa, put a tiger in the bushes, or run between an elephants legs. It's all possible with this new update.

This update also supports people occlusion on any iOS device that has an A12 chipset or newer.
