## What is Doodle Dodge?

Your notebook is alive — and the artist isn't finished.

Doodle Dodge is a hand-drawn endless runner where pencils sketch each obstacle into the page right in front of you. Read the marks before the ink sets, then swipe to dodge, jump, or slide through an ever-faster schoolbook world.

RUN THE LIVING PAGE

Every line wiggles like a flip-book doodle. Obstacles are drawn in real time, so the sketch itself is your warning.

STAY ONE STEP AHEAD

Dodge shifting walls, leap over rulers and ink blots, slide under pencil-post banners, and watch for tricks from a restless artist.

BUILD YOUR COMBO

Clean dodges, near misses, and stars raise your score multiplier. One hit puts the grumpy eraser on your trail. A second hit before you recover rubs you out.

FILL THE PENCIL CASE

Collect stars, unlock distinctive runners and rides, choose a useful PAL companion, and upgrade that PAL from level one to three. Begin with Slow-Mo Ink, earn four more powers by distance, then spend stars to add five increasingly rare tools: Eraser Shield, Paper Plane, Sharpener Dash, Magic Eraser, and Mech Pencil. Ten powers in all include the rare Superstar, worth 20 stars and a quick combo level.

CHOOSE YOUR RUN

Skate, scoot, ride, bounce, rapid-jump with Skipster, or run on foot. Every ride has a real handling trade-off, while Pip, Loop, Ruly, and Patch can deliver powers, sweep nearby stars, rule a Straight Path through danger, or save a run.

SURVIVE THE SCRIBBLE STORM

The page changes as the run grows across eight hand-drawn worlds, from lined notebooks and chalkboards to a watercolour Tidepool Page. Every kilometre brings a short, frantic Scribble Storm and a bonus for surviving it.

No ads. Play offline as a guest, or optionally use Sign in with Apple to sync progress, choose a moderated public Doodler name, and post completed runs to the current and all-time World Boards. Public names can be reported or hidden directly from the board.

How far can you run before the artist catches up?

SUPPORT SICKKIDS

Doodle Dodge includes an optional link to a fundraising page in support of SickKids Foundation. Donations are completed directly with SickKids Foundation outside the app and do not unlock content or affect gameplay.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-03

The home screen is now a live sketch: your runner, page, and drawing pencil sit behind the menu, with notebook tabs for Loadout, Play, and the World Board. This update also improves ride animation, obstacle readability, run feedback, and small-phone layouts. New Apple sign-ins can share an email address or use Hide My Email to create their optional Doodle World account. Existing Apple sign-ins and saved progress stay intact.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-14

Home screens now fit more reliably on small and large phones. This hotfix improves safe-area spacing around system bars, gives Loadout and World Board cards more room, keeps long runner, ride, and PAL names separate, and hides partially clipped leaderboard rows. Existing saves, purchases, scores, and the SickKids support link are preserved.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-04

This update keeps completed runs and Pencil Case purchases safe across iOS suspension, relaunch, and cloud sync. The ERASED card now preserves the finished score and distance instead of occasionally showing 0/0, and recently spent stars remain spent rather than being restored from stale cloud progress. No other gameplay, account, leaderboard, diagnostics, fundraiser, monetization, or privacy behavior changed.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-03

This update fixes a rare signed-in cloud-sync race that could reset the completed-run ERASED card to 0 score/0m or restore a consumed Big Start. Completed runs and consumed boosts now remain stable while cloud progress is reconciled. Gameplay, progression, loadouts, World Board features, and the optional SickKids Foundation fundraiser are otherwise unchanged.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-28

This update makes every run more personal and easier to read:

- Runner outfits, rides, and PALs are now independent loadout choices, with safe migration for existing unlocks.
- Four specialist rides and four new badge-unlocked PALs add fresh playstyles.
- The Pencil Case now groups Gear, Loadout, Pages, Progress, and World more clearly.
- The World Board focuses on All Time rankings and private My Runs history.
- Clearer Apple sign-in prompts help save scores before and after a personal best.
- Stability and privacy-safe diagnostics improve interrupted-run and cloud-sync recovery.
- Motion preferences remain available and existing saved choices are preserved.

The optional SickKids Foundation fundraiser remains visible before every run. Donations happen securely on SickKids Foundation's website and never affect gameplay.
