But now when I’m trying to create a group poll, I get all the way to the end before it just spins forever after hitting ‘create’. ### 3/5 — Workable but not great *2025-02-05, version 5.0.23* Can’t select UTC in app. You can on the website but it crashed on my phone. Don’t want to try again. I tried multiple times. I tried the app and tried in internet browser. After hitting create in the app it froze in an infinite loading screen every time. In the internet browser it wouldn’t let me add multiple time options for the same day (the button to do so didn’t do anything) defeating the point of even using the software. Take it out of the App Store to avoid wasting everyone’s time and energy setting it all up only to have it be completely useless! ### 1/5 — Newest version is super buggy *2024-07-12* I’ve used Doodle dozens of times over the years and the latest version is completely useless. First off, the first thing you see when you click on a link is an advertisement that looks like the doodle poll link and so any of your recipients are going to be super confused by clicking on this ad! Not to mention the user interface for filling out poll information is complete garbage. I had to enter available dates no less than six times before it finally stopped resetting my options. I guess I just have to find some other app. Good luck! Update July 2024: Still terribly formatted for use on mobile devices. So bummed… ### 3/5 — Used to Love this App *2024-06-18, version 5.0.23* To me it’s gotten more complicated and less efficient. I had to manually scroll through to set the time for each offering and I had 16 altogether. The time defaults to whatever time it is now not :00. And when I tested the poll, I really couldn’t see the list as a whole, just one at a time. And it didn’t connect to my calendar. Not sure what happened, Doodle. Please go back to the simplicity of the past. You had a great product as it was. With love and respect… ### 3/5 — Practical jokers on the dev team. *2024-06-08, version 5.0.23* The app has you choose times, then the time zone, but offsets all the times you choose based on that time zone in relation to Eastern Time. So I always have to go change every time individually. And this is not new. ### 1/5 — Poorly designed interface and BROKEN *2024-06-07, version 5.0.23* Can’t get it to create a poll, and this after literal hours trying to use their horrendous UI to make the poll. Once it gets to the create screen the spinning wheel never stops spinning and the poll never gets created. Utterly useless and I paid for the premium features as well. Will be requesting my money back. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t get past sign up screen *2024-03-07, version 5.0.23* Unfortunately my review is only based on the login screen because I couldn’t get past it. I tried signing up with google, Facebook and Apple. I “confirmed” my email account 4 different times and it still kept throwing me in circles, every single time asking me to verify my email but not letting me in. I used it to try try to get a few old men together for drinks. Not everyone could figure it out. I would’ve liked to have known the names of the individuals who were voting for various dates and the app does not give you that information. Then they tried to ‘improve’ it and utterly destroyed everything that was good about the app. Ever since, the app has been awful. Go back to the original app from 5 years ago and be done with it. It’s hacking people off. WhatsApp has a simple Poll function now. Get with it. Won’t use again after this occasion. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2023-08-29, version 5.0.21* This premise in theory is wonderful, but has truly the most heinous and glitchy OS for something that’s crawled out of the App Store. I’ve made numerous attempts to open the app, log in, create an event, adjust settings, find old events, etc, etc that all have broken the app or sent me reeling in anger to have to start over again. Just use something else, this is not worth the headache. ### 1/5 — DO NOT INSTALL - RATING IS FOR OLD APP *2023-08-09, version 5.0.21* When this app was updated last year, Doodle ceased to exist. It’s now completely unusable. Please do not be fooled by the thousands of reviews entered for this app before their update that are causing the app to still have a 5-star rating. Sort by most recent reviews to see that everyone else is saying the same thing. It’s complete garbage now. It’s been loading for about 30 minutes. Page indicators that don’t allow swiping between pages. Text boxes that don’t auto-center in your view when you enter them so you can’t see what you’re typing as you type. It’s like the app was created by someone who had only ever taken a two week night class in beginner coding at the library. Don’t get me wrong, library classes are great. It’s great for scheduling get together with group of people. But currently my app keeps freezing when I get to the date selection page. It lets me choose one date and then freezes up. Please fix! ### 5/5 — I recently updated doodle and now it doesnt work *2017-11-22* I used doodle weekly for the last year it was great for organizing 60-70 ppl and letting them know about a weekly practice group. It helped me keep in touch about time, location and dates. Everyone participated when and if they could by signing up or declining each week. I am very dependent on the app to bring ease to organizing my practice group. Recently though about the same time I updated the app It has become inaccessible due to an “SSL error and no secure connection to the server” and I am no longer able to connect to doodle. I am not even able to contact their support link. I was surprised when this review let me express my situation. I run a school and am a project manager for a nonprofit so coordinating times for team meetings all can agree to is particularly essential to getting things done in our line of work.
