### 2/5 — Please fix this

*2024-09-09*

I had been working with this app for a project for over 3 DAYS!!!!! And I was super happy with how it turned out BUT I saw this green paper looking icon in the top left corner and thought it was the save button NOPE, IT WAS THE TRASH BUTTON. All my work was deleted 😭😢. I then figured out that the save button looked LIKE A PRINTER. Please make this make sense.

### 2/5 — Looks good but crashes

*2020-12-15, version 1.6*

Crashes every time you touch camera icon wish it would of worked

### 2/5 — Not usable and too slow

*2018-10-06, version 1.6*

Not usable on iPhone. Controls are very bad.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2022-12-08, version 1.7*

Using this app honestly is hard, every move you make is a struggle. Don’t spend $10 use your money on something else

### 1/5 — Overpriced

*2022-10-28, version 1.7*

This app is over priced and cost $10. You can do everything in this app on the website FOR FREE. There is a small selection of colours and the tools aren’t always enough. The app also glitches and freezes on you every like 5 minutes. And if you don’t save the design, you will loose all of your work and progress.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2022-10-25, version 1.7*

This app is very bad it costs $10 but you can just use the website for free it is very hard to use and it kicks you out

### 1/5 — Worked great until it didn’t

*2021-01-31*

This app was working great for me. I was able to import images and print them in 3D. However, it no longer works in iOS 14. The app crashes when trying to import an image. I contacted the developer and have received no response. This is the only app like it and would love for it to work again and give it five stars.

### 1/5 — This app is not optimised for iPhone 6

*2020-05-28*

I bought this app but it is optimised for iPad I don’t have iPad I tried to use it on my iPhone but it controls are overlapped over each other

### 1/5 — Not good

*2020-05-11*

Not intuitive at all. Who tf knows what those stupid pictures mean....? I got this as a workaround for adding text to models in shapr3d, but I’m incredibly disappointed. Font choices are severely limited with no way I could find to import more, and if you import a pic of the text, it creates a weird outline model that is completely useless. Worst $6 I’ve ever spent.

### 1/5 — Mala.

*2019-09-17*

Muy pocas posibilidades, nula capacidad de exportación. Quizá puedan usarla los niños, si alguien la quiere, creo que la puedo regalar

### 1/5 — Whatever has happened

*2018-07-17, version 1.6*

I Brought this app it had everything I needed and I was hopeful for future updates and improvements.
However it is now next to useless with recent updates all of my designs have disappeared and I don’t have any future use for this, I do feel very disappointed and relieved of £25

### 1/5 — Cannot open

*2017-12-30, version 1.3*

Do not get this app. It will not even open. It kept on loading and loading. I waited for around an hour but it didn't load.

### 1/5 — Can’t do anything with the free version!

*2017-12-08*

No export options at all with the free version. It would of been nice to be given at least one option. App is basically useless unless you want to shell out the $27 for the full version. $27!! I would maybe pay $4.99 for this, $26.99 is WAY too much.

### 5/5 — Best 3D doodler for iPad ?

*2022-01-20, version 1.7*

I was waiting for an App like this for a looong time. Have just begun testing this for the use in my Concept Design workflow and it looks very promising. This has the potential for becoming my favourite modelling app on a mobile device (iPad Pro 12,9 and Mini). And from what it looks to me it‘s way less ‚intrusive‘ than VR sculpting. It‘s probably less suited for creature design / soft surface - but I was looking for a way to model architecture from sketches on the go, and it seems to be the right tool for that task.

### 5/5 — please Its so amazing- HOW can I save me print file?

*2020-05-06*

I see no where to sign in here?PLEASE!

### 5/5 — Best 5 dollars ever spent

*2019-12-31*

I don’t understand why this app is rated so low. It does what I needed and more. I wanted to get an idea of what my 2d line drawing would look like when transformed into 3D for original jewelry pieces. I’m not disappointed with this app. It works well for me and what I use it for. The one thing I don’t like. I realize this app was designed with children in mind or created for children, but the interface is way too childish. I wish it could be changed with preferences to something just a bit more adult friendly. Other than that this app is far and away way to under rated.

### 5/5 — Worst interface ever

*2019-12-28, version 1.6*

I wanted so badly to like this. There was no free version so I took a chance. After paying the expensive price, I downloaded it for my phone. The app zooms in with no apparent way of zooming out. There are no instructions or tutorials. The icons are cutesy but not intuitive. What a waste of money and disappointment for my kids.

### 5/5 — Can i use it in my macbook?

*2019-04-02*

I already get this app from my iphone, can i use it in my macbook? Or do i have to buy macbook version?

### 5/5 — Now can export stl files!

*2019-02-07*

This program has been reworked into an amazing app. Five bucks is a small price to pay for this. It will INSTANTLY convert either something you draw OR a picture imported from your camera or photos into 3D. The most amazing feature of the latter procedure is that you point to a part of the imported picture and only that part is converted. Quite amazing.

### 4/5 — Great fun

*2019-10-24, version 1.6*

It took my 5 year old grandson 5 minutes to understand how Doodle3D works and he loved it! I used one of his sketches of a robot to create a 3d model that is not sliced and ready to print. The interface is amazingly easy: it may look primitive but it is oh so easy to use! Yes, still things to wish for - here is hoping it will develop. Any updates coming?

### 4/5 — Fairly good, but needs more features

*2018-11-10, version 1.6*

Please provide more advanced features (which can be turned on, and are off by default to not scary away new comers) such as using different views (other than ONLY top view). Also, it'll be great if you could add vertices, edges and poly select features, as well as chamfer/filleting, and a flexible move tool that lets you move a selected surface in any direction..

### 3/5 — Good start!

*2018-07-05, version 1.6*

This app has good functionality and great potential. Though i feel a few features are missing.
The option to swap screen layouts between 2D, 3D and the current half/half. This would open the app to phone users and just make drawing easier.
The option to choose printer size say up to 1000mm on x/y axis.
Also the ability to create pieces then select, move, copy and paste them together with a “select contact faces/edges and snapping” type mechanic. This would greatly increase the ease of symmetry and creation within the app.

### 3/5 — Okay, but...

*2018-01-24, version 1.3*

You should probably not get this app unless you wanted to make one thing, and not export it or make another. Or pay 27 dollars, which is stupid. I stop at $10. So, don’t waste your time getting this. Get a better app, like gravity sketch.
