Would be better with a more comprehensive test to get the kids in at a level that is mildly challenging. Taken them a lot of persistence to get to a level they are working at at school... eg they know their timestables up to 12 but doodle maths seems persistent to start them off at 3x when they should surely be learning divisions of the multiples by now... anyhow... they seem to be progressing at last to something more at their actual age ### 2/5 — Free?? No it’s not... *2020-04-27* The blurb says the app is free when in fact it’s not. My kids have the apps through school but to use this app it seems you need an account. When I started putting my details in it then wouldn’t let me pass the page to chose a package. I’m certainly not paying to check my child’s progress when I’m sitting with them during lockdown!! ### 4/5 — Update is not working ! *2019-03-20* The previous version was Good and we could atleast view message and send reply. With the new one - can't see the message and the screen freeze on tapping the message icon. Can't go back to view another siblings account too. Emailed them a few times and now HAVE GIVEN UP! However their are too many glitches in system that keep throwing up problems. If you sign in across different devices it doesn’t record all points, child looses streaks and rewards. Very de motivating for them. Parent app no longer works and keep track accordingly. Doodle tech team just say delete and re install app with promise of a fix... but it hasn’t been fixed for months. Free app maybe worthwhile but not worth paying for. ### 2/5 — Last version defective *2018-10-31, version 1.1.8* Since the last update nothing works as it should. Parent dashboard cannot log on. There is definitely somethings wrong with the app/s. When you try to get bigger make sure you have the right team to work for you otherwise everything will go downhill. Not happy ### 1/5 — Multiple accounts *2018-10-03, version 1.1.8* My children have accounts at home and school and have done for some time. My youngest uses her school account and my eldest uses her home account. I have them registered under different email addresses as I had to at the time but I would like to have them registered under the same account so I don’t have to keep switching between them in the parent app, but I cannot see a way of doing this. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Why have you ruined this app? *2021-11-09* Why, oh why, have you ruined this app with the latest update? It looks dreadful and I can’t understand my children’s results anymore. Very unhappy with how I was forced to update and now can’t use it effectively. This roll-out should have been tested all systems before they started crowing about how great it would be!!! At the moment it says my son is on a 0 day streak but he doesn’t s actually on day 44. Received a combative and defensive response which didn’t address the points that I had spent time highlighting in my message. Wouldn’t be using unless the school insisted. ### 1/5 — Misleading info, doesn’t relate to child’s DM app *2018-10-08, version 1.1.8* The Doodle Stars my son has on DM is different to that on the parents area and different again to what is given in the Parent app. At a total loss to resolve.
