## What is Doom Loop?

China, 2029. Industrial automation is accelerating while households save, property weakness erodes local revenue, the population contracts, and external controls target the technologies expected to carry the next growth model.

Doom Loop: China is a political-economic strategy game about governing the difficult transition from investment and export-led scale toward household security, productive automation, and sustainable provincial finance.

Every six months, choose national programmes, start multi-turn transition projects, and follow their consequences across eight distinct provincial systems. Coastal technology hubs, old industrial provinces, inland growth corridors, lower-tier cities, migrant households, and ageing counties do not experience the same policy in the same way.

FEATURES

• Play twenty six-month turns from 2029 through 2038
• Manage eight provincial systems with distinct industries, fiscal exposure, trust, and implementation strain
• Choose twelve major programmes covering worker security, consumption, property completion, local debt, technology, trade, algorithms, and demographics
• Build six multi-turn national projects with prerequisites and only two delivery slots
• Track research, regulation, industrial deployment, and social readiness
• Manage hidden-liability recognition, household confidence, employment, national coordination, and external standing
• Watch automation lose productivity and create extra displacement when capability outruns social or institutional readiness
• Face dynamic consequences from the United States, Europe, emerging-market partners, capital markets, and commodity exporters
• Reach one of four national outcomes in 2038
• Play entirely offline with no account, advertising, subscription, or in-app purchase

Can China turn industrial capability into household security before local balance sheets, demographics, and external pressure close the window?

Doom Loop: China is a fictional strategy simulation. It is not a prediction, political endorsement, or source of professional advice.
