## What is Doomblock?

Doomblock is a private, on-device app blocker for people who are done negotiating with distractions.

Choose the apps and categories you want to block, then start a focus session. Doomblock uses Apple’s Screen Time technology to apply shields that stay active while your session runs.

FOCUS SESSIONS

• Start a block in seconds.
• Set a custom duration.
• Use a deliberate hold-to-cancel step for eligible sessions.
• Get a one-minute break on eligible non-strict sessions.

STRICT MODE

When you need real commitment, Strict Mode removes the in-app escape routes during the session. A timed Break Glass challenge remains available for emergencies. Using it ends the session and resets your streak.

SCHEDULES

Create recurring block windows for work, study, sleep, or mornings. Set days, times, selected apps, and Strict Mode for each schedule.

PROGRESS

• Build a daily streak from completed sessions.
• See weekly focus minutes, shield hits, pickups, and week-over-week change.
• Pro includes usage history and per-app breakdowns.
• Add a widget to see your streak or active block at a glance.
• Follow an active session with a Live Activity countdown.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• No account required.
• No advertising network or third-party analytics SDK.
• Your selections, schedules, sessions, and Screen Time report data stay on your device.
• Apple handles Screen Time authorization and App Store transactions through its system services.
