It’s convenient to access our building and home with our phone. But the unlocking process is slow, unreliable, and frustrating. And, when the app fails to work as expected, the physical locks and numeric pads on the doors are very tricky to interact with, often not registering or misreading a touch. ### 2/5 — An innovation that was never needed. *2026-08-24, version 3.8.7* This app is infuriating 75% of the time. Currently it won’t let me re-order my door order which is frustrating beyond belief when you live in a 300 unit building woth dozens of doors you CAN access but only need to use the same 5 ones daily. It lags with receivers frequently, which is less than ideal when trying to access the building when it’s dark out. This whole app is an “innovation” that wasn’t needed when a regular old key fob works infinitely better. ### 2/5 — Works! (Mostly…) *2026-08-20, version 3.8.7* Well, my biggest complaint with this app is, it’s persistence. I travel. Frequently. And it is annoying that if you don’t use the app on a daily basis, as long as you out. Not that logging in with a password. That’s saved in the iPhone password. System is such a big deal, but it is annoying that it doesn’t have longer persistence of login to make it easier for a resident to access the system. ### 2/5 — Fix your app! *2026-08-19, version 3.8.6* Open app to unlock my door, App popup: “enable Bluetooth connections”, with “go to settings” as the only option. Go to settings, Bluetooth is already enabled… everytime I open the app this pops up, and Bluetooth has always been enabled!!! The developers of this app make me angry. This app fails to unlock my door even when I'm standing in front of it at least 1 out of 5 times. Won't work at all if you're further than 5 feet away. The "unlock by opening the app and holding next to reader" feature takes at least 10 seconds to work if it works at all, which is only slightly shorter than fumbling through a list of doors to unlock. And no, developers, I'm not going to contact you and let you waste more of my time. Fix your own app. ### 1/5 — Absolute trash *2026-08-14, version 3.8.6* This app is horrible. I had no issues at all with the previous app but this app you have to be so close to the box. It’s damn near impossible to open remotely on android or iPhone. It works well at times and at times is frustrating. Imagine spending some time to organize all of your doors in order and then when you go to use it they all revert to the original order they were in before you organized them. Frustrating to say the least but not a new problem. The original latch app did the same thing. Imagine carrying groceries home and you’re forced to use your phone and this app to open some doors. Most people will try to do it one handed and that’s probably ok if you’re right handed. All of the door buttons are on the right side. Clearly no one that works for this company is left handed or could think out of their right handed box and add a toggle to make it left handed. Other than that being forced to use this clunky app is mid.
