### 4/5 — Wish it worked better

*2026-08-27, version 3.8.8*

Would give a 5 star if it consistently open my front door much faster.

### 3/5 — Not reliable

*2026-08-26, version 3.8.8*

After organizing my doors, it keeps randomly displaying them out of order which is annoying because I need to look up for the door I need instead of having them in the priority I need.

### 3/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-08-25, version 3.8.8*

I feel like it’s been real difficult on the user friendly side. I wish there was an easy way to favorite doors on one page so I didn’t have to look them up by name every time.

### 2/5 — Needs refinement

*2026-08-24, version 3.8.7*

These locks are a good idea. It’s convenient to access our building and home with our phone. But the unlocking process is slow, unreliable, and frustrating. And, when the app fails to work as expected, the physical locks and numeric pads on the doors are very tricky to interact with, often not registering or misreading a touch.

### 2/5 — An innovation that was never needed.

*2026-08-24, version 3.8.7*

This app is infuriating 75% of the time. Currently it won’t let me re-order my door order which is frustrating beyond belief when you live in a 300 unit building woth dozens of doors you CAN access but only need to use the same 5 ones daily. It lags with receivers frequently, which is less than ideal when trying to access the building when it’s dark out. This whole app is an “innovation” that wasn’t needed when a regular old key fob works infinitely better.

### 2/5 — Works! (Mostly…)

*2026-08-20, version 3.8.7*

Well, my biggest complaint with this app is, it’s persistence. I travel. Frequently. And it is annoying that if you don’t use the app on a daily basis, as long as you out. Not that logging in with a password. That’s saved in the iPhone password. System is such a big deal, but it is annoying that it doesn’t have longer persistence of login to make it easier for a resident to access the system.

### 2/5 — Fix your app!

*2026-08-19, version 3.8.6*

Open app to unlock my door, App popup: “enable Bluetooth connections”, with “go to settings” as the only option. Go to settings, Bluetooth is already enabled… everytime I open the app this pops up, and Bluetooth has always been enabled!!! Fix your app!

### 2/5 — Slow

*2026-08-18, version 3.8.6*

Sometimes takes a good 5-10 seconds to detect and unlock the door

### 3/5 — Bluetooth Actions Unreliable

*2026-08-16, version 3.8.6*

1 time in 4 it connects to the door, then sits for 30 seconds doing nothing until the Bluetooth connection times out and I can retry. Way more often than this happened with the Latch app. I’m left standing in the hallway like an idiot.

### 1/5 — Ads over efficiency

*2026-08-15, version 3.8.6*

When I’m trying to enter my home while some jerk is following me the last thing I need is an in product marketing to push to use some useless feature. The developers of this app make me angry. So I’ve downgraded my two star review to one.

### 4/5 — Good app but need some work

*2026-08-15, version 3.8.6*

It’s cool to get into my complex and apartment with just a click, but there has been too many times where the app has froze in the middle of me using it or I have to click the button for the garage, front door, my apartment and more more than twice before I can get in.

### 3/5 — Lags

*2026-08-15, version 3.8.6*

Lags too much, not very efficient

### 2/5 — Subpar

*2026-08-14, version 3.8.6*

Slow, clunky, buggy, and you have no choice whether you use it or not. Wish I was able to use a competitor instead

### 1/5 — It's ok...when it works

*2026-08-14, version 3.8.6*

Using a brand new iPhone 17 with fully functioning Bluetooth. This app fails to unlock my door even when I'm standing in front of it at least 1 out of 5 times. Won't work at all if you're further than 5 feet away. The "unlock by opening the app and holding next to reader" feature takes at least 10 seconds to work if it works at all, which is only slightly shorter than fumbling through a list of doors to unlock.

And no, developers, I'm not going to contact you and let you waste more of my time. Fix your own app.

### 1/5 — Absolute trash

*2026-08-14, version 3.8.6*

This app is horrible. I had no issues at all with the previous app but this app you have to be so close to the box. It’s damn near impossible to open remotely on android or iPhone. It’s just simply awful.

### 1/5 — Review

*2026-08-11, version 3.8.6*

App is Super slow

### 1/5 — Mid at best and clearly designed for right handed people

*2026-08-10, version 3.8.4*

I’ve been forced to use this app and the previous latch app for over 5 years. It works well at times and at times is frustrating. Imagine spending some time to organize all of your doors in order and then when you go to use it they all revert to the original order they were in before you organized them. Frustrating to say the least but not a new problem. The original latch app did the same thing. Imagine carrying groceries home and you’re forced to use your phone and this app to open some doors. Most people will try to do it one handed and that’s probably ok if you’re right handed. All of the door buttons are on the right side. Clearly no one that works for this company is left handed or could think out of their right handed box and add a toggle to make it left handed. Other than that being forced to use this clunky app is mid. Not good or great but just kind of yeah, I can’t get in without it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Widget feature broken

*2026-08-26, version 3.8.8*

Trying to unlock my door, a simple task, has never been more difficult. The widget feature is completely broken and keeps asking me to set up when I’ve already done that.

### 1/5 — Random

*2026-08-26, version 3.8.8*

Works occasionally. Very unreliable

### 1/5 — Great in theory

*2026-08-26, version 3.8.8*

If it worked.

*2026-08-24, version 3.8.7*

Half the time does not work on first attempt — connects to the door latch but does not unlock.

### 1/5 — Fitness room

*2026-08-18, version 3.8.6*

The fitness door is pretty difficult to operate and it poo

### 1/5 — Huge Security Risk!

*2026-08-17, version 3.8.6*

Door unlocks on its own and the company isn’t helping to resolve the issue or understand where it stemmed from. Bad customer service and awful system - NEVER use is my recommendation.

### 1/5 — Forced to use this app and couldn’t hate it more.

*2026-08-17, version 3.8.6*

First review I’ve ever written for an app. Just want to let the developer know it sucks and needs fixing. Curious what’s wrong? Read all the other 1 start reviews.

### 1/5 — What a hassle

*2026-08-16, version 3.8.6*

Inconvenient and insecure. What more is there to say

### 1/5 — Used to be good, now terrible

*2026-08-15, version 3.8.6*

The app used to be simple and reliable. My apartment complex has many entrances, and so I typically have a custom ordering of entrances in my home view. Now, it resets my custom view every day or two. I don’t know why it does this.

### 1/5 — Getting worse, not better

*2026-08-15, version 3.8.6*

Slow. Watch app works intermittently, very frustrating.

### 5/5 — Gets me in, but…

*2026-07-21, version 3.8.3*

I cannot hook it up to Siri which was convenient with the previous app. I tried multiple times. Also don’t like that it keeps asking me about joining various things.

Even when they are dismissed they still pop up. Annoyed me enough to write a review.
