Thanks for your feedback again. ### 1/5 — Bad App *2023-09-28, version 6.9.6* Rubbish app, useless on iOS, you end up getting no alerts when someone is at the gates ### 1/5 — Keinerlei Funktion *2023-09-15, version 6.8.8* Wir bekommen die App nicht zum laufen. Hundert mal installiert und deinstalliert jedoch klingelt die App nicht. Erst wenn man die App öffnet dann klingelt sie. Ist ungefähr so als ob ich dann mal die Tür öffne um zu schauen ob vl einer davor steht. Der Support bekommt noch den letzten Stern abgezogen da man nie wen erreicht. It just leaves silent notifications when your door rings. It’s functionally useless. ### 1/5 — Needs Major Update/Improvements *2026-05-02* Recently found that the app doesn’t work on an Apple iPhone 17 or 12 when talking on the phone and a guest comes to the gate. Stopped phone call and still errored out even after closing the app several times. I had to reboot the phone before the app would work. The app has been buggy since the control panel was installed several years ago. I keep missing deliveries as the delivery people don’t want to wait for someone to respond. On a positive note, the control pane itself works well when using the keypad. I wanted to give my family members access to the app but it automatically kicks you out if someone else logs into your account and if they make their own account the app wont let you re-add the doorbell to a second account. Would appreciate a fix ### 1/5 — Paid features DO NOT work *2025-08-07, version 7.3.6* We paid for the features for the full year and had some teething problems, spoke to their customer service team a few times, we still can’t use the features and now every email is bouncing back. I have been trying for over 3 weeks and I can’t get hold of them. The app is janky, it freezes a lot on multiple phones and the screen, this is NOT a wifi issue. It also captures and stores images of everyone who rings your bell throughout the day—perfect for FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and other deliveries. Die Installation und Einrichtung der App war einfach und leicht verständlich. Ein plötzlich auftretender Fehler wurde vom Support und dem Entwickler konsequent ausgemerzt. Die Professionalität, mit der das Problem angegangen wurde, war beeindruckend und der Support war auch in der Urlaubszeit omnipräsent . Hierfür ein dickes Danke! Die App läuft nun stabil und mit vollem Funktionsumfang. ### 4/5 — Works great *2024-02-21* I have installed on 3 gates so far. You MUST have a strong WiFi signal. Ethernet hardwired into unit gets you best results. The programming does take a little to understand. Just remember to hit the check mark in the upper right when you want to send a programming command to the unit. You need to subscribe to there cloud service to expand some of the capabilities but it’s cheap. $40 a year. If there was one complaint, it would be the fact you can hear yourself talk to whoever is at the unit with 3 second delay. But that’s a buffer issue with the internet/cell service. **Developer response:** Hi friend, thanks for your feedback. About the echo issue, please update your doordeer device to the latest firmware which already fixed this issue. ### 4/5 — Works Very Well!! *2022-12-20, version 6.7.2* I am delighted with this device and software. Had a little bit of installation issue. We connected directly with Ethernet since the gate is out of range of WiFi. But first setup requires the phone connecting to the internal WiFi. So, it took an extra 5 minutes or so getting everything set up. This is so much better than our last device, a Grandstream, and nearly $100 less. And it is $1500 less than a no better competitor. I couldn’t be happier. ### 4/5 — Works great for us ! *2022-11-20* This thing works great for us. It does take a few seconds to connect, but that’s expected on my case considering my internet bounces to twice via air bridges before hitting my gate network. We get notifications quickly. Would love to see CarPlay App integration. My only complaint is that previous notifications ro notifications answered by others show up even after they’ve been answered. ### 3/5 — Redrubber *2024-04-08, version 7.1.3* Klingel und App funktionieren. Leider scrollt das Bild bei der App und es ist sehr schwer erkennbar, wer vor der Tür steht. Die ansprecht Zeit auf der App nach dem geklingelt wurde, ist relativ lange.
