Doors — discover what's happening around you.

Every event is a door. Open the ones that look good, skip the ones that don't, and find your next night out, day trip, or thing-to-do — all happening near you.

Doors is a community-powered guide to local events. From live music and gallery openings to pickup games, food pop-ups, and late-night spots, the best things in your area rise to the top — voted up by the people actually going.

What you can do

• Browse what's on — scroll a live feed of local events, each with its date, time, place, and the crowd's votes at a glance.
• Tonight, this week, or this weekend — focus the feed on the window you care about.
• Seven kinds of plans — Nightlife, Art, Music, Movies, Activities, Food, and Sports.
• Open your own door — post an event in seconds: pick a category, set a date (single or multi-day), drop a location, add the details, and you're live.
• Vote it up — upvote the doors worth showing up to, and the best ones rise to the top.
• See it on the map — find what's happening around you at a glance.
• Your Me tab — your profile, the doors you've created, and the ones you've upvoted, all in one place.
• No sign-ups, no passwords — it just works with your iCloud.

### 1.11 — 2026-07-17

Doors got photos, and so much more.

• Photos on doors — add one from your library, or let Autofill grab the event poster for you. Doors with photos get a thumbnail right in the feed.

• Paste a link, get a door — drop an event page URL into the new composer bar and Autofill fills in the title, details, date, place, and photo.

• Share doors anywhere — text a door to a friend. If they have Door's, the link opens it right in the app; if not, they'll see where to get it.

• Plan ahead, properly — the Week and Wknd filters now scroll into future weeks and weekends, joining the Day picker. Every filter works on your Me tab too.

• Add to calendar & get directions — straight from any door's menu, with Apple Maps or Google Maps, your choice.

• Duplicate your doors — recurring events repost in two taps, with the date automatically rolled forward to the next week.

• You've got a number — check the Me tab. Early Door's users keep their member number forever. Low numbers = you were here first.

• Plus: Brooklyn, Queens, and the boroughs now count as New York, so no more missing doors — and polish all over.

Find your night, any night.

• Search is here — tap the magnifying glass on the Doors feed and find any door by name, place, or category. What you find on the feed shows on the map too.
• Plan ahead with the Day filter — a new scrolling strip of the next 30 days lets you jump straight to next Friday, not just tonight. Multi-day events show up on every day they span.
• A cleaner Me tab — your profile picture takes the top spot where it belongs.
• Small touches of polish throughout, including our signature amber in all the right places.

This one's all about making Door's stick with you:

Pick up where you left off — your tab and date filter now stay put between sessions.
Your doors, your call — edit any door you've made, or delete the ones that are yours.
Smarter search — results now show the description and location, so you know what you're tapping into.
Cleaner all around — a bouncier, clearer Post button, more breathing room on the category screen, a sharper map, and shorter location labels so nothing gets cut off.
Squashed a sneaky bug along the way.
