## What is DooSpend?

Too lazy to track your spending? DooSpend does it for you.

Just photograph a receipt and AI pulls out the amount, merchant, and category automatically — no typing.

■ Logging without typing
• Snap a receipt/slip and let AI fill it in
• Share slips straight from your bank app, Shopee, or Lazada
• Scan a QR before paying, or log by voice
• Import a whole month's card statement in one go
• Auto-categorize, learn your merchant renames, flag duplicates

■ Shared Pockets
• Split costs with friends, partner, or family — even on different Apple IDs
• Invite with a link you can paste into any chat
• DooSpend works out who overpaid and who owes whom
• Per-pocket budgets + category breakdowns

■ Credit-card assistant
• About to pay? One tap shows which card earns the most — ranked by reward rules you set up yourself once
• Co-brand card rules — store-specific (e.g. a Shopee card) or store exclusions (dining promos that skip delivery)
• Track the cashback / points / miles you actually earn
• 0% installments with interest worked out for you
• Statement-cycle and due-date reminders

■ Daily safe-to-spend
• "You can still spend ฿480 today" — your monthly budget spread across the days, salary-cycle aware
• Warns early if your pace will overshoot the budget, with a gentle morning nudge
• Works on cash & transfers too — no credit card needed

■ The full picture
• This month's overview — card bills, instalments, recurring payments and money you borrowed, sorted by date or on a calendar · card bills follow the real statement cycle, so you see how many days past due and what this bill comes to
• Budgets you can start on your salary day
• Savings goals — money you set aside is kept out of what's "safe to spend" (one goal free), plus a savings chart you tick off box by box (Pro)
• Keep debt/loan payments out of your spending totals — flag them "not counted" (they still hit your balance)
• Automatic subscription tracking + price-hike alerts
• Multi-currency, backup/restore, CSV/PDF export

■ Genuinely private
• No SMS reading · no bank linking · no ads or tracking SDKs
• Data stays on your device and syncs through your own iCloud
• When you use AI, only the image or text you choose is sent (via our proxy) to Anthropic Claude to read it, tagged with a random per-device id for the usage quota — never your name, email, or Apple ID

Free: 5 AI scans/month
DooSpend Pro: daily "safe to spend" + the savings chart & multiple goals + 150 AI scans/month + full Best Card, higher limits, and advanced features

Pro is ฿69/month or ฿590/year (your local price is shown at purchase). It's an auto-renewing subscription — payment is charged to your Apple ID within 24 hours before the period ends and renews automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2.0 — 2026-08-23

Card bills now follow your real statement cycle + a home screen you arrange yourself

• Card bills are worked out from the real statement cycle — how many days past due, what this bill comes to, and when it closes, shown on the due card and the calendar (leave the statement day blank if you don't know it yet)
• Spending overview: pick a month from a scrolling strip, up to three months back, and day headers now name the weekday
• Fixed wrong totals when your month starts on a day other than the 1st (e.g. payday)
• Savings goal and savings chart screens rebuilt — a progress ring up top, history on its own screen
• Arrange the home screen yourself — drag cards to reorder, switch off the ones you don't use, drag handles always visible
• The bell takes you to the exact item it warned about, and recurring payments and money you borrowed are now covered by due-date reminders too
• Renaming a category no longer breaks automatic categorisation — each category keeps a permanent key
• Instalments: log an expense and link it to an existing plan (new plans are created in one place, the instalments screen), with better matching
• Statement import: the entry point no longer disappears after your first import · Review: a clear message when you're offline, plus a "try again" button
• Categories: easier to reorder and it matches the shortcut bar you see while logging · long-press a shortcut to swap it
• Every warning and error message in the app rewritten — they tell you what to do next, not just that something broke · you can now reach us on Facebook or LINE as well as email
• Fixes: recurring payments whose cycle crosses a month no longer show up as overdue (they used to appear only after the 20th) · back from the overview screen returns to the right place · card rows with no bill due can be tapped to open the card

### 2.1.0 — 2026-08-19

Savings goals + one screen for everything due this month

• Savings goals — set a target and the app keeps that money out of what's "safe to spend", and tells you how much to put aside each month to get there (one goal free)
• Savings chart (Pro) — the app spreads the target across boxes; tick them off one at a time (daily/weekly/monthly) and the total lands exactly on your goal
• An alert when an account drops below what you've set aside
• This month's spending overview — card bills, recurring payments, instalments, money you borrowed, sorted by date
• Two totals kept apart — card bills (already spent) and other payments due (not out yet)
• Switch to a calendar to see which days are heavy, and look a month ahead
• Anything past its due date is grouped at the top
• "Paid this month" is kept so you can look back — expand it when you want
• A shorter home screen: only what's urgent, everything else one tap away
• The More menu is reordered so what you use most sits at the top
• Fixes: a category you deleted no longer comes back · yearly bills with no statement day show up and remind you again

### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-13

Wallet is now a main tab — see your balance the moment you open the app.

• Due instalments wait in Review instead of being logged for you — you confirm first
• One screen shows everything due this month: wallet, instalments, recurring bills, money you borrowed
• Pay an instalment from anywhere you see it — amount and category are filled in for you
• Link an existing expense to a plan; it counts the instalment and keeps your slip
• Paid a different amount than scheduled? Record it — totals follow the real money
• After a slip photo, choose "keep in Review" and shoot the next one right away
• Loans: due-date reminders, and a "track repayment" switch when you lend
• A morning reminder of what you can still spend today
• No category matches your search? Create one from what you typed
• Carried-over balance from the previous period now shows in the list
• Net-worth trend (Pro) — up to one year back

### 1.8.5 — 2026-08-05

• Long-press + to open the receipt camera
• Instalments: enter interest as %/month
• Review groups: view the source document; the image follows each row
• Import Excel/Windows files; create categories while mapping
• Renamed "Remaining" to "In − Out" for accuracy

### 1.8.4 — 2026-08-01

• Transfer slips: the AI reads the merchant name more accurately — it used to pick up the sender's or the bank's name instead
• Credit cards: interest and fees no longer count toward cashback-earning spend, and you can now enter a carried-over balance
• Category icons expanded to 123 across 11 groups (was 48)
• Review queue: tap the amount to switch expense/income · swipe down to close a full-screen slip
• Entry sheet: one-tap account swap · add a "for whom" on the spot
