Guns are random by design, which can mean some unlucky streaks. If you’re in Career Mode, levelling up the “Heavy Metal Hotline” skill increases your chances of them showing up more often. ### 5/5 — Fun game *2025-11-20* Brings me back in time. Reminds me of the game I played a long time ago. Great way to pass time. Would be nice to have a button to pay loan shark in between encounters with him though **Developer response:** Really glad you’re enjoying it! On the loan shark: part of the design is that he’s unpredictable, he shows up on his schedule, not yours. Keeps that classic tension from the old game. ### 3/5 — Bring back old UI!! *2025-11-17* Loved this game as a kid but the ai slop art is really lame, maybe release another version or an option to go back to the old red menus? If you prefer a simple, old-school style, grab 'Dope Wars 1987'. Crashes all the time *2026-01-16* I love the game but it crashes out all the time after playing for a while then won’t load past the thunkable screen. Have to delete app and then all progress is lost when reinstall. Makes it hard to enjoy long term and progress **Developer response:** I get why that kills the experience, losing progress is brutal. This looks like a known stability issue on certain devices and I’m working on a patch. This is an excellent spin off of the old beta classic. I haven’t been able to find an outstanding version of the original until now. I’m so beyond happy that I stumbled across this game. Brings back so many memories of playing the beta version for hours just to pass time by and to keep my memory sharp. It’s no different than the real deal only better. Has there been an international version made? If not then why wait? If so then point me in the right direction!! I’ve got a few of my friends to download and play..they’re hooked on it now. If I force close and try to reopen, the app never gets past the “made with thunkable” screen. The only fix is deleting and reinstalling, but then I lose all of my progress in the campaign. And that only fixes it until I play a few more rounds. Please fix it so I can keep playing this addicting game! **Developer response:** Ah, that sounds really frustrating, especially losing progress.
