The interface is clutter-free. The artwork pops. Gestures make navigating my library a breeze. I love that it handles FLAC and WAV without issues. The equalizer and timed lyrics work perfectly. CarPlay support is a nice bonus too. Best of all it is now free for up to 80 songs. This is perfect for anyone who wants a clean no-nonsense home for their personal music files. A more classic now play view. The UI is second to none, thoughtfully laid out, and it’s actually so fun and a joy to use—when it works, that is. I have a larger library, about 70 gigs, and Doppi is basically unusable and crashes frequently if I’m doing something as simple as skipping a song or two or even just importing music. The extended features (like Get Lyrics) make this app exceptionally enjoyable. The only issue that needs attention is when in Artist mode the only songs that play are in the ones in an album; if songs are not in a displayed album, those songs will not play.
