I also like the equalizer! It’s easily accessible and it lets me tweak things just how I like it. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2026-10-13, version 6.4.1* Great app, best design compared to any other music uploading app my only issue is that it dosent seem to have gapless playback or cross fade which is very annoying when listening to albums. ### 4/5 — Great local music player *2026-10-10* Very pretty and easy to use. The only thing missing is an equalizer. A band equalizer with some presets would be lovely. A parametric equalizer would be awesome. And genre-based auto-selection of an equalizer preset would be fantastic. ### 5/5 — Just what the doctor ordered *2026-10-03, version 6.3.2* Exactly what I’ve been looking for. No more being tethered to Apple Music, no more bloated nonsense I’m not interested in. It simply does what I ask it to do and looks great doing it. ### 1/5 — Rediculous *2026-09-28, version 6.3.2* $20 for a music app. No thanks. Also. You don’t need to pay for it. All my 5k files are still there and play. ### 5/5 — perfect app *2026-09-25, version 6.3.2* it is so beautiful and easy to use， good job ### 5/5 — basically perfect *2026-09-04, version 6.3.1* everything I could possibly ask for from a local music player! 19.99 forever license is so worth it! ### 5/5 — Nice *2026-08-08* Doppi is easily the most beautiful offline music player I have used. The interface is clutter-free. The artwork pops. Gestures make navigating my library a breeze. I love that it handles FLAC and WAV without issues. The equalizer and timed lyrics work perfectly. CarPlay support is a nice bonus too. Best of all it is now free for up to 80 songs. This is perfect for anyone who wants a clean no-nonsense home for their personal music files. Highly recommend. ### 5/5 — Excellent: just minor bugs *2026-07-15, version 6.1.3* It is a clean, easy to use music player. I love it. Just a couple of minor bugs I am sure the developer will fix them soon. ### 4/5 — Really good Music App *2026-07-12* A beautiful player and great praise to the developer for the UI design, which makes it stand out from a lot of music players! I only need two things to make it my perfect music player. Unfortunately, there is no list view under albums and it would be nice if there was an alternative Now Play view, where the cover and the controls are slightly smaller and less "in your face". A more classic now play view. Then I would be wishlessly happy! ## Frequently asked questions about Doppi ### What file formats does Doppi support? Doppi 7 includes: • Doppi for Apple Watch • Follow Peers or Remote Folders • Choose a custom Highlight Color • Doppi now picks up external lyrics and artwork files on the same folder • Open songs, albums, and artists in iTunes Store • Get Info now saves automatically • Re-engineered Nearby connectivity • Re-engineered playback engine with zero gaps • Navigation sections in More or the sidebar can now be collapsed • Like from the lock screen (icon is a star, unfortunately) • iPhone: Artwork Parallax Enjoy. ### 7.0 — 2026-10-30 Doppi 7 is here. The app will give you the highlights, but as a treat for reading the release notes, here's the most complete list of changes I can provide: • Doppi for Apple Watch • Follow Peers or Remote Folders • Choose a custom Highlight Color • Doppi now picks up external lyrics and artwork files on the same folder • Open songs, albums, and artists in iTunes Store • Get Info now saves automatically • Re-engineered Nearby connectivity • Re-engineered playback engine with zero gaps between songs, even with Equalizer and Sound Check enabled • Navigation sections in More or the sidebar can now be collapsed • Like from the lock screen (icon is a star, unfortunately) • iPhone: Artwork Parallax As I always try to say: enjoy. That's a homage to the iPod packaging, which said the word "Enjoy" right before revealing the device. Just one more bit of Doppi lore that you're now aware of. ### 6.4.1 — 2026-10-11 Some nice fixes and improvements to the good stuff from 6.4: • iPhone: Support for landscape orientation, as well as a resizable window when using iPhone Mirroring • Fully rebuilt Doppi Guide — access it from the About window or any Learn More button ### 6.4 — 2026-10-10 Doppi now requires iOS 17 or newer. But also: • iPhone: Support for landscape orientation, as well as a resizable window when using iPhone Mirroring • Fully rebuilt Doppi Guide — access it from the About window • Fixes, improvements, and optimizations across the board Enjoy! ### 6.3.2 — 2026-09-13 6.3.2 focuses on more bug fixes and optimizations. I wanted to make sure that devices that max out at iOS 15 are left in a good state, since this is likely to be the last release to support iOS 15 (and 16). It's been an honor supporting these foundational generations of devices, some of which date back to 2015: the year Doppi was first released. You could have run Doppi 1.0.1 and 6.3.2 on the same iPhone 6s. May they rock on for years to come. ## Apps similar to Doppi | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Jewelcase](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/jewelcase/id6642683626) | 4.8 (84) | Free | Music | | [Tuneo: Offline Music Player](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tuneo-offline-music-player/id6748915689) | 4.3 (102) | Free | Music | | [Cosmos : Offline Music Player](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/cosmos-offline-music-player/id6751984723) | 4.5 (43) | Free | Music | | [Plum Music Player](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/plum-music-player/id1441625664) | 3.6 (19) | Free | Music | | [MiniMoon: Offline Music Player](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/minimoon-offline-music-player/id6478451132) | 4.6 (49) | Free | Music | | [Power Player Music Player](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/power-player-music-player/id1372545429) | 4.4 (32) | Free | Music | ## Related topics [local music file player](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/local-music-file-player) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
