### 1/5 — Rip off

*2026-08-10*

Subscribe and the charged me for 2 months and didn’t get the options available when you subscribe. Customer service agents didn’t care. They said to unsubscribe and re subscribe. Hence the 2 charges. Don’t waste your money. Half the time it takes forever for the other persons phone to recognize the band. Just stick with business cards.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-07-31*

Well I thought I found something cool and interesting to share my contact information but the free version is limited. I signed up for the paid subscription and the paid features won’t work. Support says no subscription but I have been charged through apple and even sent screenshots of the active subscription. Don’t waste your money or time!!

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-07-15*

### 1/5 — Didn’t work

*2026-07-09*

### 1/5 — Log in error

*2026-07-03*

I’m trying to login in this app and they said this invalid email, but when I’m trying to do through the browser, it works well!

### 1/5 — Forced Subscription for Contact Export

*2026-06-11*

I purchased the metal DOT card hoping it would be a durable, professional networking tool and specifically chose the metal version over the less expensive plastic card because I expected it to last longer and hold up better to daily use.

Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.

Contacts collected through DOT do not sync to my phone’s contacts, so people whose information I have collected still appear as unknown callers unless I manually create contacts. Exporting contacts requires a paid subscription, which significantly reduces the value of the product for me. I was surprised to find that basic contact portability is treated as a premium feature.

I have also been disappointed in the durability of the metal card. The finish and paint on the back of the card around the QR code have already begun to scratch and wear under normal intermittent use. Ironically, I upgraded to the metal card for longevity, but based on how quickly the finish is wearing, I suspect the less expensive plastic version may actually hold up better cosmetically over time.

The card does successfully share my information, but between the durability concerns and the subscription requirement for contact exports, I do not feel the metal card delivered the value I expected for the price.

**Developer response:** Hello and thank you for the detailed feedback.

On contacts: for anyone you've collected through Exchange, Scanning a Business card or Manual input, you can go to their contact profile in the Contacts tab and tap "Download" to save them natively to your phone. No subscription needed for that.

The export feature does require a subscription, and we understand that feels limiting. We'll pass this feedback to the team.

On the card finish: that's not the wear we'd expect under normal use. Reach out to us at support@dot.cards and we'd love to look into this for you.

### 1/5 — Slow app, not worth it. Doesn’t even open the contacts.

*2026-06-05*

The mobile version barely loads, and the mobile doesn’t even do it
In the past it was great but now, yeez, it’s a pain the *** to try to open a new contact

**Developer response:** Hey, sorry to hear that - this is definitely not the experience we want. Please reach out to us at support@dot.cards so we can investigate what's happening on your end.

### 1/5 — Login button cover up by keyboard

*2026-02-16*

I can’t log into the app because the keyboard doesn’t drop to give me access to the login button.

**Developer response:** Hello EQQUIANNO!

User experience is our number one priority at Dot. We've took notice of your review and deployed a fix to improve the login experience. To address this issue we've made the following changes:
- The keyboard now drops when you click outside the keyboard area.
- We've changed the 'Enter' button on the keyboard to a 'Check' button which closes the keyboard.

Please let us know if you have any issues.

### 3/5 — Can’t add cards

*2026-08-15*

I just left a networking event and trying to scan my cards into dot but the app keeps freezing on me. Any suggestions.

### 3/5 — Andriod Users

*2026-05-30*

I purchased this for someone who uses android and they don’t have it available for them. This is missing so much potential because of this.

**Developer response:** Hello Rockstar!

We agree with you and the Android version is actively being worked on. We're looking to release it very soon! We'll update this comment once it's publicly available.

### 5/5 — Great product and great app

*2026-02-18*

The Dot Cards app is just as amazing as their products. This is by far the most reliable and easiest way to share and collect contact information.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoy our product, stay tuned for many improvements we'll be bringing soon for you.

### 3/5 — I don’t align with the business model

*2026-05-19*

I bought a dot card for $30 on Amazon and after setting it up, I don’t feel that I’m getting a good value. I can’t remove the dot card branding without spending $15/mo or $144/yr, making my profile look unprofessional. It’s cheaper to buy business cards. I unfortunately will have to return the dot card.
