## What is DotDay?

See your month at a glance. Color-coded dots mark days with events. Scroll the same screen to read every event, grouped by day. Tap a day to jump there. Long-press to add one.

Create and edit events and reminders without leaving the app. Choose which calendars appear. Pick a default list for reminders. Your data lives in Apple Calendar, Reminders, and iCloud — not on our servers.

No accounts. No clutter. Just your month.

### 2.1 — 2026-08-17

Swipe between months on iPhone. Type a name to fill an event title and address from Contacts. Dark appearance throughout. Editing an event no longer changes its repeat schedule or alerts. Recurring reminders stay incomplete until you mark them done.

One screenshot says it all. A cleaner calendar and reminders companion for iPhone, iPad, and Mac—month grid, event dots, and full-month agenda unified.

This update fixes the calendar date picker so it stays exactly where you put it. Events now show only what's ahead — no past clutter. A new "Always start at today" toggle in Settings brings you back to the current month whenever you return to the app. We also added helpful tips about enabling event alert notifications on each device. General stability improvements throughout.
