Update: Still no new levels for a very long time. Disappointed. 

Love this game but finished all levels and there have been no updates for ages. Very disappointed.

A great puzzle game, i am very addicted. My only issue is very rarely one level will be extremely hard. Its only been like 2 levels out of the first 100, but when it happens its very annoying because the bonus items (like movable square, dot remover, etc.) are given out in extremely limited quantities and not impactful enough to help you pass the level. Which means when a level is hard you’re basically screwed; your only option is to repeatedly play the same until a favorable combination of dots is presented, which can take 70 to 100 tries. 
Another issue is that sometimes it tells me i ran out of space after using a dot remover, even though i should have had another turn left. 
And the green and blue dots are a bit difficult to differentiate; i wish there was a color blind or patterned setting. 
Also, i wish on the “bonus” levels (the black question mark levels), there was a way to reveal or get a hint about the answer as i think it would help me learn the game strategy.

I don’t understand why the game will end because I’m “out of space” when there are still moves available. I could understand it if there weren’t actually spaces available, but if I plan to make a match in two moves, the game will suddenly end when I can clearly still see moves! Very frustrating.

Really enjoyed this clever puzzle to begin with, and quickly got hooked, completing as many levels as possible and spending far too much of my time trying to crack the more challenging levels.
However, as I moved into the high 200s, there were a few levels that I felt impossible to win, no matter how tactically or thoughtfully I played (try googling level 272...). It seemed that unless I spent money to buy ‘coins’ to extend games, there was no way to progress. When I purchased more life, lo and behold, the game would be solved immediately. I resent feeling controlled like this!
Having spent too much time and too much money (was it worth it? I don’t think so...), I have now deleted the game.
Play it, just don’t get hooked and don’t spend more money on it!

I had this game years ago and came back to it a few weeks ago. It used to be a really fun, relaxing game but the ads between nearly every single level is just down right annoying! You used to be able to easily earn coins for boosters but it seems that has gone away (or at least somewhat) and the only way to get enough coins for boosters is to pay for them. If you don’t mind 30 second ads for every 1-2 minutes of game time - give it a try!

I have had glitches with this program for quite a while.   There have been no updates in a long time.   It freezes and closes out.   Thought it was fixed because it was fine for week, however it’s back worse than ever.   Developer states they played the level with no issues.  I don’t have problems with any other apps.

Dotello is a really engaging game that provides many hours of fun. There is definitely a point that you need to purchase coins to pass certain levels, but I have kept my purchases to a minimum. 
I really wish the game creators would add the ability to earn rewards so purchases weren’t required. Until then, I’ll continue to play occasionally and enjoy the game!  Thanks!

I love this game and have played it through once already, but on this second playthrough I have been stuck on level 272 for FOREVER. I have spent money on coin packs and dot removers and used ads to continue a million times and I cannot beat it. I don’t remember anything like this the last time I played the game. Its getting really frustrating and I don’t think it’s worth the challenge if you can never get past a certain point and it makes you want to throw your phone out of a window.
Also, the new update for the new iPhones is bad..... I can’t see how many lives or coins I have anymore so I’m kind of flying blind. If y’all could fix this soon I would add a star or two.

Addictive game that evolves and continues to challenge with each level. It's one of the few games I've played to completion. UPDATE: after getting a new phone I loaded this app and started over. I can’t believe how many ads there are now. Play for 30-60 seconds and you will be forced to watch at least one 30 second ad. This has crippled the game. Reduced rating from 5 stars.

Have been playing and enjoying for a long time. Really disturbed by the ad for an assassin shooter game (Nov 2018) as it is too violent and graphic, even if the bullet stops inches away from piercing a man’s temple. Not cool. Please pick more appropriate content. This is a “matching game”. Advertise something in the same genre please. Not inclined to recommend your games if you continue to think this recommends your brand.

I must have played this level 100 times but I can’t get past it. I’m seriously considering deleting this otherwise clever and addictive puzzler, considering it’s impossible to advance past here.

This isn’t a game of skill, you are playing against a probability of a random colour generator. A probability that is quite obviously stacked against you so you don’t complete the game and are encouraged to pay to continue or pay for special skills.

Forced adverts after every game is also tedious. I can’t find a paid version to remove them.

Good effort, but there are too many other puzzle games out there to get sucked into this one.

I guess those who have gotten to the top have paid their way through. Level 285 is impossible, with some areas unable to even complete a match. Come on, I don’t mind the ads and know you make decent money on an eCPM basis. I’ve been with you guys before Gamezaur, communicating directly with Game Pocket Studio. They weren’t monetizing at the time. This level speaks “pay me or you can’t move forward.” Fine, I’ll stop playing altogether.

Atmospheric music and sound effects makes this game almost a form of meditation.  Sometimes the less you think, the more you see. Amazing at how this game can be soothing and calming yet challenging and frustrating at the same time.

This used to be my favorite game. I have a new device and have to watch ads to play the game. There are levels you can’t win without buying cheats. Paid to remove ads but still have to view ads because there is no option to restore purchase. Sad that my favorite game has turned into a cash grab.

Had to restart this and related games (Jewel Galaxy, Dotello Slide, etc.) from the beginning.  Could not restore progress or purchases from the game Game Center.  Disappointing.

From five down to one star, because after playing this game for a few weeks, AND a few times of paying to "keep going" when I've spent time and thought on a level (but reach the max moves without solving), I think the devs are deliberately throwing in levels that are near-impassable in the number of moves allowed. Too bad, because it is really fun-- until it's not. 
I'm done.

There's a lot of intrigue under the hood here... I get bored easily with games, but Dotello keeps my attention. 
Challenging? Yes, but not too hard. It has a fun combination of variety and successes.  Tools are gradually introduced and levels can be replayed until you master the new tool. 
Also worth noting... very visually appealing. Devs did a nice job of balancing colors, symbols, and patterns on every level.

[Another EDIT] game was updated with new levels - thanks! But Oct 4 update causes app to crash. I open then it closes. Please help!

[EDIT] Two months after my review asking for new levels, still nothing. Game hasn't been updated since March - 6 months. Downgrading to 1 star because I've basically given up on this game. 
[ORIGINAL] It's been months since the last update of this addictive game. It's definitely 5 stars, but for those of us who have been playing for a long time, the time between releases of new levels is way too long. Please put more time into the game; updates in the App Store means more people will download!

This is a very fun game, but needs more dots. The following:
 
- T Dot - Similar to the L dot, except you have match it in a T shape.

- Switcher - It can be a dot color. Switch it on and multiple dots in the board turns that color, but not all of them.

- Math Dot - It adds or subtracts dots. Matching it in 5 moves adds 5 moves. Not matching it causes it to subtract 5 dots.

                  I hope you like these ideas!!!

Challenging, interesting, fun puzzle game … I could go on.  HOWEVER, when the ad inevitably pops up (and the sound to my phone is on) I receive a BLAST of ad music!  EVEN WHEN I turn off both the sound and music in the APP settings, the sound STILL comes through with the ads.  Of course, I want to leave the sound to my phone on so I can receive alerts … you know, texts, phone calls, other notifications. And, occasionally, I will play a game when on a call (eek!).  But, when the ad music comes blaring through, I am diving to turn off the sound on the ad.  Not attending to the ad!  Annoyed with the ad.  But, ho!  I can go to my OTHER game apps that allow BOTH the game sounds and the game AD sounds to be turned off.  Happy player! Glancing at the ad, noticing the ad, and not having to hear ANY of the ad sounds.  Not annoyed, not turning off the game, and not going to another game that allows play without game sounds/music AND without ad music. 
I gave the game three stars with two stars off for this easy fix.

I haven’t been playing this for long but I’m enjoying it very much. No time pressure but it needs some care to get the required score in the available moves.  A neat little game.

I love these games (dottello, dotello slide, etc). However, critics are correct that you will very likely have to make purchases to advance to some levels. What I’ve found useful is to (1) wait until a discount pops up, (2) make a purchase to remove the ads and (3) then spend the points on unlimited hearts Some draws from a particular level are easier to navigate through. Also, if you do need to purchase a particular tool, after playing a level a number of times in succession, you’ll know what tool you need and when to use it. I usually spend $10 to get 400 points and then buy 7 levels of unlimited hearts for 100 points. With luck that gets me thru 28 levels. The time I waste playing the game is irretrievable, alas. So you should really ignore my advice and take a walk or something instead of playing this game. :)
