There is no connection. However, once the latest update was released the only good factor was the colour selection. Other than that, it just made the app more complicated. The music sync feature has never worked. Before OR after this update. It’s out-of-date and complicated. Overall this app is horrible and really lets the LEDs down. Remember. When buying LEDs, sometimes it’s better to look at the app reviews than the actual LED reviews. Because let’s be honest, all the LEDs are the exact same. Thanks for reading. Three under one kitchen cabinet and three under the other. Used the provided wire holders, drilled some holes and tada…installed. The app recognized the two units immediately and works like a charm. Setup the schedule and it runs flawlessly.
