## What is Dotmap?

Dotmap helps architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and facilities teams turn field photos into structured, plan-referenced documentation during site visits and existing conditions walkthroughs.

Import a floor plan, roof plan, or site image by uploading it through Dotmap’s web platform (dotmap.co), where a QR code is generated for each plan. Scan the QR code in the mobile app to instantly load the plan and begin documenting conditions in the field. Place numbered markers as you work, linking each photo to a specific location on the plan.

Dotmap generates keyplans and organized photo exports so field documentation stays clear, traceable, and ready for reporting after leaving the site.
