SNS機能は人によって好き嫌い、向き不向きがあります。運営のガイドラインもあやふやで誤解が生まれやすい書き方です。過去に自分にも問題がありましたが、運営が注目に意地でも再投稿した自分の作品を何度も掲載してきたり、逆にドット絵なのにドット絵ではないと散々な判定をくらいました。注目欄も注目欄に載ること自体をON-OFFできないので少しでも嫌になったらSNSのみでもやめるべきです。不満をこのアプリのノート機能につぶやいているユーザーもかなりいます。ノート投稿は人によっては無法地帯です。現在のTwitterように制限がないのでツイ廃状態の人がたくさんいます。SNSは改善点多めです。サーバーは何度か増強されていますがエラーは多めです。捨て垢とログインできない垢がたくさんあります。検索にもヒットし見ずらいです。
ドット絵作成ツールとしては軽微なバグがありますが使いやすい点もあります。シンプルで描画に関してはドット絵アプリの中で一番線が引きやすいです。他のアプリは線を引くときにズーム判定になったり線が途切れたりします。ただ、特定条件でアプリがクラッシュ、色を追加するときにクラッシュかフリーズ、最大色を追加すると一部ツールが使えなくなるバグなどがあります。改善したとアナウンスされても簡便に改善はしていません。他にも描画に関する軽微なバグがたくさんあるのでとても使いやすい訳ではありません。
SNS機能も不要でもっと高機能なアプリを求めているのならおすすめしませんが、趣味でかんたんなドット絵を描くのにはおすすめです。SNSは過去に自分も病み荒れてしまい反省の意味も、悪い思い出もあるので二度と使用しません。すみませんが、描画ツールとしてこれからも使用します。

Если нажать рисовать или событие, или некоторые другие кнопки, то просто вылетает (айфон 15). Рисовать не получится, хотя на 7ке все работало 🤪
Иногда помогает впн, но здесь вообще ниче, вылетает всегда

一度ドット絵が描きたくてダウンロードしましたが、正直言って最高です。
超簡単、直感的に書ける操作に、色をどうすればわからないって人用にパレットを用意されてるのもすごく良い。そして、なにより、絵を投稿した時に、何かしら評価してもらえることですね。ハートされると嬉しくなります。プレミアムで配信とかもいいかもですね、見る側はプレミアムじゃ無くてもいい、みたいな。マイクなしって感じで。
まぁでも試しにでいいからダウンロードしてみてください。本当に簡単に描けて簡単に投稿できて簡単に評価できます。

I love the cursor, helps with getting small details and planning out my art work! In addition to that, I like how we can use other pixel apps to get bigger pixel canvases ( that still keep the art pixel) which would be lovely if it was already in the app (just a suggestion).

I have enjoyed my time on dotpict, it’s really an enjoyable little app. Many of the people on the platform are very nice, which can be a breath of fresh air for many. However, many issues have cropped up as time progresses. The app is very strict on what is considered “pixel art” and may take down your art with an added 3-day suspension without notice or reason. Newer updates have rendered the app useless on any iPhone older than Gen. 8, which is massively disappointing as I can’t even log in anymore. If it weren’t for those major issues, dotpict would be receiving a 5-star review, but the most I can give is four. 

 UPDATE: I got the app to work on my older iPhone, thanks to the new updates, but I have another issue to address. The “featured” section of dotpict is extremely biased, making it hard to be properly recognized. Unless you make anime art, detailed backgrounds, animations, or follow daily prompts, there is little chance that your art will make it up there.

5年前はレイヤーもタイムラインもスポイトもなかったはずが、久しぶりに再開したらすごく便利になっていて驚きました。
機能は増えましたが直感的な操作感は変わらず、わかりやすいです。

他のレビューで、ユーザーの民度が悪いというのがあったのでそれについてですが、dotpictは「まだXやpixivのアカウントを持たない子どもがはじめて登録するSNS」として選ばれやすい印象です（かつての私もそうでした）。
なので、ある程度荒れるというか、イタい人が多いのは仕方がないのかなと思います。
誰にでもそういう時期はありますから、合わない人とはブロックしてお別れしましょう。

Firstly, I want to start this review by saying I adore this app! It's a wonderful art program, very easy to use, and the vast majority of artists on here are extremely talented! But there are two things I'd like to mention and I hope the devs are able to improve. Firstly, for the last few days I've seen the app losing connection for no apparent reason. Even if my internet is on 3 bars, it will still be unable to connect most of the time! It's very infuriating, and all I would want to do anyways is just like and/or repict someone else's art. Is it just because my device is old (3 years old)? Secondly, I wish there could be a way to add opacity layers to animation. Even if you have premium, this is still a disabled function. Other than these two errors, Dotpict is a really cool program and I would definitely recommend! 💗✨

The only thing that works on the app is actually making the pixel art, but when I’m on the home page or any other page, nothing comes up; it only says ‘Failed to get data’. This might be my phone, but it doesn’t say anywhere in the app description that it requires a certain IOS or over… I tried deleting and downloading the app again over four times, and tried it on multiple different WiFis. I’m not sure why it doesn’t work but I genuinely want to use the app so if you can help please do🙏

まだシステムに伸びしろはあるけど、超楽しい！
「絵を書いてるけどアカウントとかなくて投稿できない〜！
誰かに見てもらいたい！」
って感じの子供さんにもお勧め！

ただ、下書きとかラフみたいなのを投稿するのはやめて欲しい……
そういう絵柄だったり人気の人ならまだしも……。。。

普通のデジタルに飽きてきたりしてない？
なら、お勧めするよ！本当に楽しい！入れて損は無い！

Its a good app and lots of talented artists but its hard to use the app to draw on phone, I used to use it on a phone with no problems but I reinstalled it on the same phone and the push button to draw doesn’t stay down, I used it on iPad then it was easier to use. So, I used ibis paint to draw but dotpict moderators didn’t think it was pixel art. I ended up finding a method of drawing to make it more pixel. 

Good app overall, 4 stars! Just make it so the push button doesn’t stop pushing cuz that makes it hard to draw.

1. you get bombarded with ads ALWAYS! if you go out of the app for a little (to maybe see references or adjust ur music or whatnot) or EVEN scroll to your control bar/notifications? ADS! if your device closes itself when on dotpict and u open it AD! 2. ive been a user of dotpict since 2019 and theyve been slowly locking stuff behind a paywall!!!! its a hell to animate on dotpict because most tools is locked behind a paywall! 3. but u can talk to other people and ive made many friends on their so i guess it kinda balances out the cons? i usually draw on pixel studio then post it on dotpict because pixel studio is heavenly to use!!! but js a heads up, the UI is really confusing for beginners but its worth it!

久しぶりに使っていたら、長押しでスポイトになってしまう機能が追加されているようで使いづらい。 ゆっくり調整しながらポチポチしてるのでよく長押し状態になってしまう。 勝手に色変えられて戻しての繰り返し…ストレスがたまる。 その機能をオフにできないか設定を探したが見つからず。

私はアイビスペイントのデジタルペンで､フィルター加工なしで描いたのに､それでも「ドット絵ではない作品」とされガイドライン違反になりました。本当に意味が分かりません。もっと具体的にどこを直せばいいのかなど正確に言って欲しいです。
ガイドライン違反した直後､急にドットピクトの画面がエラーという表示にになり､作品などが全く見れなくなりました。改善願います。
本当にモチベが下がったので今日でドットピクトから退会します。

I paid for premium twice and didn't recieve it. The first time I bought it I was banned immediately without reason, and the second time I bought it the purchase just didn't work. I contacted support and they basically told me it was my problem and they aren't going to do anything. Watch out before buying premium.

i recently got my phone upgraded, all the data from the old one were transferred to this new one, but for
some reason my account is lost. i cant log in in any way. i really want to get my account back. i’ve tried countless times to log back in but it keeps giving me a message that says that an account using that email doesn’t exists or has been deleted. ive looked up some of my old works in the app itself and found it so thankfully it hasn’t been deleted but i still cannot get in.

I thought it would be fun to join the dotpict community, but over half of my art was removed for “non-pixel art content”, which is absolutely ridiculous. I spent hours drawing to post them and they deleted them, I even have video evidence on my ipad that I drew these. I guess this app doesn’t trust anyone who doesn’t want to use their horrible interface to draw which was integrated into the app. Will not use this app again.

As for customer contact, I don’t want to waste my time on that to renew any art.

　プレミアム会員でなくても大部分の機能が使え、ユーザや公式の企画、今日のお題、パレットなどの欲しい機能が充実しており、描くものにはそれほど困らず楽しくお絵描きをすることができます。
　フォローバック目的と思われるフォローでフォロワーを増やしているユーザや、ノートや作品の説明欄などに文章を書き、それが中心になった作品を投稿しているアプリの趣旨と離れたユーザなどが見られますが、暴言、下ネタなどの荒らしユーザはこれまで見たことがなく、精神年齢が幼いユーザこそ多く見られますが、民度は他のSNSより良いと感じます。
　ここからは要望で、
・フォロワー数などの知名度といいね数の差が大きい作品などは積極的に現在ある注目作品のような注目されやすい場所に掲載する。
・パレットや企画にも注目のようなものを作り、人気があるものをまとめて参加しやすくしてほしい。
・パレット・企画を検索できるようにする。
...などの始めたばかりのユーザも注目されやすくなるようなシステムが欲しいです。
追記・アップデートがかなり頻繁にあるので、1年以上前のレビューはあまり参考になりません。

いつも楽しく使わせていただいております！最近に関してはアニメイラストの模写などもかなり減っており、運営さんの努力を感じられます！レイヤー機能など便利になって来ており、不満と言っても全然思いつかないぐらいです！ですが、１つ思ったのが、たまーに企画として吹き出しに文字を書こう!みたいなのがあり、それで文字を書き、投稿し、注意される、ということがあるので、そのような企画はダメだよーというのをガイドラインに追加して欲しいと思っております。いつも楽しく使用させていただきありがとうございます！！

so, ive found using the push button on mobile hard, and its also slower. so.. ive decided to make a suggestion.
maybe could you remove the push button, and wherever you drag the pencil, it will start drawing. when you dont, its not drawing. thanks! please use my suggestion in one of ur other updates.
