## What is Dots & Boxes Together?

Dots & Boxes Together brings the classic pencil-and-paper strategy game to iPhone and iPad—with colorful boards, creative twists, and plenty of ways to play.

Connect neighboring dots with lines, complete the fourth side of a box to claim it, and take another turn. When the board is finished, the player with the highest score wins.

Version 1.2 brings Dots & Boxes Together online!

• Play complete live games with 2–4 players through Game Center.
• Invite friends, add random players, or join a compatible random game.
• Hosts can select the board size and Quick Mode before inviting players.
• New ready-up lobbies automatically begin the game with a three-second countdown.
• If someone leaves during an online game, the computer takes over so everyone else can continue playing.
• Return to the lobby with the same group for another game.
• Support future updates through the new optional Tip Jar.
• Additional interface improvements and bug fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-05

Version 1.1 adds three new ways to enjoy Dots & Boxes Together:

• One Player Mode — Play head-to-head against the computer with Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels.

• Quick Mode — Jump into a shorter game with a balanced selection of lines already drawn.

• Pass-and-Play Undo — Undo your most recent line for up to two seconds after playing it.

We’ve also refined animations, controls, and game balance to make every match feel smoother.
