## What is Dotty The Kangaroo ZX?

You play the part of Dotty the kangaroo who has been put on a course to test his intelligence and physical ability. Work your way through several levels and find the exit before you fall into a shark-filled pool.

Originally written in 1984 for the 16K ZX Spectrum by Ian McTavish, now back on iOS and macOS.

This is a recreation of the original ZX Spectrum version of the game on iOS.

A speed run mode is available:
• on macOS, press the 'S' key to start the game in speed run mode.
• on iOS, double tap to start the game in speed run mode.
• complete the 4 levels twice (normal and hard mode) and your fastest time will be recorded in the Speed Run Leaderboard.

• Guide Dotty through four levels by jumping on the platforms
• Open the door by reaching the red block
• When all levels are completed, the game gets harder
• Touch screen control on iOS, original keyboard controls on macOS

I have had an IPad since the IPad2, and have been through every type of genre of game there is, and this one has taken my breath away. I am still trying to get through all the levels throws at you. 

The kangaroo (Dotty) is so cute, and amazingly drawn (In an 80s Spectrum kind of way)

Looking forward to more levels, and a level editor.

Still looking forward my Kempston Joystick, to play it in all its glory. 

I have heard the gameplay can take many hours to get through the levels. 

Thank you for bringing this classic the IOS, and even greater thanks to the original author. 

Is there a Dotty 2 in the pipeline? Perhaps with up to date graphics? Hey, even the original with upto date graphics would be fun.
