## What is Douay?

The Douay-Rheims Bible Study includes Douay-Rheims translation of the Bible in both text and spoken word so you can listen to and read the Bible at the same time. You can also take notes and email them using the included web browser and your favorite online email account. The Douay-Rheims translation is one of the standard Bibles used by the Roman Church and is the Bible of choice for many traditional Roman Catholics. Why limit yourself to just audio or text when our app combines both and allows you the freedom to take your notes, text, and audio anywhere in one package. 

Our software features 

The complete written and spoken words to the Douay-Rheims translation of the Bible as outlined by the Catholic Church’s Canon of Divine Scriptures with the Challoner Revision for reference. 

The ability to play, pause, or stop spoken words. 

The ability to play, pause, or stop a chapter or verse. 

Verses can be retrieved using a keyword, the chapter number, or the chapter and verse.

A note system to let you take notes. Notes include the chapter, verse, and book by default. You can archive notes and edit them later.

App is very difficult to understand.  Therefore I don't know if it is just me or if there are major problems with the app...I think it is the latter.  Very disappointing.  I was hoping for a good, audio Catholic bible.

I've been wanting an audio of this version, so I disregarded the one not so great review in hopes of it being a great app. I've only just downloaded it, like the previous review said, it is difficult to figure out, but I'm hoping with a little time I can use it, it does seem buggy, I'd say for the time being until it is more user friendly this app is not what I had hoped for. But as with anything, I'm giving it a chance, hopefully a few updates will bring out what the developer had envisioned when he created it.... I'm praying anyway....then I'll give it more stars, the audio that I was able to play is a computer voice, and what I wanted was an app that I could play while driving or walking, this so far isn't working for that :(  please developer, this app needs work.
