This is the premium version of the the Double Star II game. There are no ads and no in-app purchases. Simply play ... and save the galaxy.

Double Star is an epic space adventure. You are in command of a powerful starship. As starship captain, you issue orders and interact with your crew on missions to save the galaxy from an alien invasion. The game is the reimagined version of classic space trek games. It combines classic space war gameplay with elements of a contemporary, storyline-driven game.

A fresh take on the classic “Super Star Trek” genre of games and a fun way to pass the time.
The latest version fixes game-breaking bugs. Now I am able to finish the main story.

The latest version fixes bugs that had broken the game. Now I am able to finish the main story.

This game is a fresh take on the classic “Super Star Trek” genre of games. A fun way to pass the time.

**Developer response:** Problems are fixed in version 2.2.0. 
These major problems were corrected: (1) Phantom alien ships were appearing on screen but they could not be fired on; (2) The Chart view would not display information because the constellation of interest on level 5 had so many stars in it; (3) the Transport command could not be used to pick up bonus items from the beacon planet.

I really like this turn-based game. It reminds me of the old text Trek games. And there’s more than just going on missions and blowing up alien ships. At each level you have to find a specific constellation and orbit a planet. That’s all part of the search for the aliens home world. Others have reported bugs but they seem to be fixed now. If you like turn based and retro, this game is for you.

While this game has potential, it glitches after the around level 4 and becomes unplayable by level 6.

Several major bugs were reported in playing at Level 5, which is the first level that the alien Supercommander ship appears. Bugs: (1) Phantom alien ships were appearing on screen but they could not be fired on; (2) The Chart view would not display information because the constellation of interest on level 5 had so many stars in it; (3) the Transport command could not be used to pick up bonus items from the beacon planet.  Those problems are fixed. You may now resume your search for the alien home world.
