## What is Dove Afterlife Care Transport?

Dove is a transportation operations, dispatching and management app for the death care industry. No more need for excessive and unnecessary paperwork. With Dove, you can manage your entire team, requests, statuses and case histories in one place.

Work directly with other companies in your network to provide a seamless and transparent transition of case information to help ensure on time pickup and delivery.

Using Dove is easy - here’s how it works:
- Open the app and add your company information
- Create a new case and provide case information
- Request a removal using a time period and location from any company in your network
- Track the removal and delivery of your case in real-time
- After delivery, you can view the full case history

### 2.3.2 — 2026-07-13

This update focuses on reliability and on the details you told us mattered.

- Jewelry, signatures and dates now save correctly. If you record a
  wedding band, a witness signature, or a date of death, it stays on
  the case.
- Photos: you can now retake a picture that didn't come out, and the
  captured image appears right away.
- Case summary: the review screen now scrolls and shows every detail
  captured — not just a fixed few — so a witness can see exactly what
  they're signing for.
- Transport partners: assigning a case now lists all of your partners,
  with the one you've chosen clearly marked, and shows each partner's
  city so there's no confusion between locations with similar names.
- Links in Dove emails and notifications now open directly in the app.
- Improved stability, including a fix for the app closing unexpectedly.

This update focuses on speed and polish for building and handling cases:

- Refreshed navigation with a cleaner, more modern menu
- Address lookup is faster and more reliable throughout the app
- Signature is now the final step when creating a case, so you sign after everything else is captured
- Track jewelry and personal effects per item, each with its own status
- Added a secondary phone number for next of kin
- Case origin now defaults to the company creating it
- App version now shows on the login screen
- Various fixes to labels, the loading screen, and file uploads for a smoother experience

Offline mode
Dove now works without a cellular signal. Fill out a complete call sheet in a basement, on a rural removal, or anywhere your connection drops — cases save locally on your device. As soon as you're back online, drafts automatically sync to your team's inbox in the background. A new Pending Uploads screen (in the side menu) shows you exactly what's queued and lets you retry, open, or discard any draft.
Redesigned jewelry section
Jewelry is now its own dedicated step in the new-case wizard, with a per-item form for status (Taken / Not Taken), the person who removed it, the person it was given to, color, type, dimension, and with-accent details. Track up to three pieces per case. Cleaner inventory, cleaner custody chain.
Smarter Company Dashboard
Dashboard tiles you don't have permission for are now visible but grayed out with a lock icon — so you always know what your role does and doesn't include. Ask your admin to enable access.
Wizard improvements
• Personal Items is now grouped into clearer sub-pages.
• A Previous button is always visible at the bottom of every step, so you can back up without scrolling.
• The wizard no longer freezes on long forms.
Reliability and polish
• Fixed a crash that bounced users back to the login screen mid-case-assignment.
• Fixed blank-screen errors when opening or editing cases with partial data.
• New cases without a deceased name no longer create empty records in your inbox.
• Login sessions now last a full year instead of 30 days.
• Cleaned up duplicate labels and stray header lines throughout the app.
For admins
The Update Driver screen now drops you back into the Drivers list cleanly after saving, and the back button takes you all the way to the Company Dashboard.
