It’s still broken. And now the app won’t even let me log in anymore, or send me an email to reset the password. How much money are they wasting on this app that they don’t bother to even check? ### 1/5 — Why bother *2025-06-29* I submitted a request to ask the city to fix a park trash can 6 WEEKS ago! They’ve done nothing. The app still says “in progress”. Geolocation is broken and says I’m too far even though I am standing next to a bus stop. The live map only shows the route, and not the live location of the busses. Also, when typing the report, it types in white font and I can’t see what I’m typing. I even highlighted the text so I could try to read it but somehow couldn’t read it. I see graffiti everywhere and it drives me crazy! I downloaded all the different city apps such as Anaheim, Cypress, Southgate and Bellflower, but none of those compare to Downey's app. In the city of Downey, they really did it right! Interface is organized. All words and punctuation are correct, and the response times for clean up are amazing!! I'm really amazed with this app and the city of Downey.
