## What is Downing Draft?

You're the new Prime Minister. A recession is already underway, the public is restless, and the only thing standing between you and history is the government you build.

Downing Draft is a quick, replayable political strategy game. Draw your ministers, assign them to the right briefs, set your priorities, and pick the signature pledge that will define your time in office - then watch how your choices play out.

HOW IT PLAYS
- Name your Prime Minister and party
- Draft a cabinet from a rolling deck of candidates - re-roll if you don't like the hand you're dealt
- Match ministers to the jobs that suit them across eight great offices of state
- Choose your economic approach, governing style and three national priorities
- Commit to a signature pledge and live with the consequences

YOUR LEGACY
When the dust settles you get a full verdict: how many years you survived, your exit approval, your election result, a scorecard across government performance, political capital, cabinet cohesion and your signature policy - plus how you compare to real prime ministers. Share your result with a single tap.

No accounts. No logins. Pick up and play in minutes.

### 4/5 — Great thinking game

*2026-08-08*

I enjoy this game a lot but I am unable to retry the daily brief which is a shame. I click retry and 2 ads play, when they finish and I close to return the message ‘ads didn’t complete retry’ happens every time. Maybe it’s for the best or I’d spend too long on it! Other than this I enjoy playing.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. This helped us identify a bug, which we’ve now fixed in our latest release. Hope you continue to enjoy the game!

### 3/5 — Has potential

*2026-07-29*

Has potential, but it would be good to go through different scenarios of each different cabinet position. For example, how to handle housing crisis etc. pick from 4 options. Public confidence, an actual election

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We released our biggest update yet yesterday, including a brand-new In Office mode with more decisions and a much deeper governing experience. Hope you enjoy it, and we always welcome further feedback!

### 5/5 — Great concept

*2026-07-28*

It's made me completely rethink which politicians I'd actually trust in different Cabinet jobs. Simple to pick up but there's a lot more strategy than I expected.

### 5/5 — A masterpiece

*2026-07-24*

Got me right back into politics with a few names I’d forgotten about. Thatcher, Miliband et al
I look forward to competing with friends

### 5/5 — Great Potential

*2026-07-18*

This game is great and has so much potential. I can see the vision. I do think that there’s definitely room for expansion for instance government choices from pre WWII through to Wilson as many strong secretaries of state within those governments such as MacMillan, Baldwin, Attlee, Bevin, Bevan, Eden, Churchill and Butler to name but a few.

Also maybe even the possibility of adding the best shadow or nearly governments from that timeframe as a possible fun expansion maybe a setting that could be turned on and off if necessary. I also think the game could be be involved after the cabinet is selected as it seems hard to get beyond 6yrs maybe the ability to make some in term decisions and see the reelection process so it’s more involved and also rewarding and replayable but I definitely think the game is a solid one and a strong foundation that I hope sees a bright and promising future 😁

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We’re constantly working to improve and expand the game, and suggestions like yours are genuinely helpful. We’re delighted that you also see the game’s potential. Please keep an eye on future updates, we have plenty more planned! Thanks again for playing.
