## What is Downpour Weather?

Downpour is a radar-first weather app. Instead of burying the map three taps deep, it opens on live NEXRAD radar centered on you — so you can see exactly where the rain is, where it's headed, and when it will reach you.

• High-resolution NOAA NEXRAD radar, animated so you can read a storm's direction and speed at a glance
• The map opens on your location
• Scrub back through the last hour, or ahead into the forecast

KNOW BEFORE IT POURS
• Rain alerts tell you when precipitation is about to start — or stop — at your exact location
• A rain-countdown widget for your Home Screen and Lock Screen
• Severe-weather warnings from the U.S. National Weather Service, drawn right on the map

Downpour uses a clean field-instrument design that stays legible in bright sun and at night. No clutter, no gimmicks — just the radar and the forecast, fast.

Data sources: NOAA NEXRAD radar via Iowa State University (IEM); forecasts from Apple Weather and Open-Meteo; warnings from the U.S. National Weather Service.
